RAKZA X table tennis rubber from Yasaka is the latest addition to the popular and highly successful RAXZA series of Yasaka rubbers. The top sheet is a mainly natural rubber gum, employing a new production method.
The result is a top surface with exceptional grip enabling both phenomenal spin and speed. These qualities reduce the margin for error. This top sheet is then combined with a harder “Power Sponge”. The resulting combination of a faster sponge and high grip top sheet enables you to place the ball accurately with a high degree of success.
Serves and short returns are both very sharp, similar to the Rakza 7 and Rakza 9.

So Rakza has finally been adapted for plastic balls. What is this thing. I think the lifespan is about average, but after about two months of use it starts slipping a lot and you can barely drive with it anymore... So basically, the conclusion is that it performs at its best for about a month. Sinking the ball in gives more power, while brushing it gives more spin. In that sense, honestly, it's a bit mediocre...

It's better suited to the forehand than the backhand, but I used it on both sides.
Backhand drives and push-blocks were easy to do too.
It's easily affected by the opponent's spin, but if you overpower it with your own spin, it's not a problem.
In topspin rallies, the spin really grabs.

I feel like this holds the ball the longest of all the Rakza rubbers. Because of that, drives are great regardless of the timing — off a push, a chop, or in topspin rallies. The arc carries well and feels stable. I'd recommend it to intermediate players looking for stability and power with inverted rubber on both sides.

It's similar to Fastarc G-1.
Since it's hard, if you can swing through properly you can generate a lot of spin.

Bottom line: this is a fantastic rubber.
Both speed and spin are more than satisfactory.
Spin especially feels great — the more you brush the ball, the more it grips.
Another appealing point is that you can still return the ball even when you're a bit off balance.

Of course you get spin. When you get a good grip on the ball, it's easy to produce shots that make your opponent send the ball long. The speed is solid too, and it feels stable. {That said, I felt it was a little more affected by the opponent's spin.}

It works well both for sinking the ball into the sponge and for brushing it, spin is strong, and the ball dips down. Another characteristic feature, like other Rakza rubbers, is that it's easy to control the bounce with how much force you put in.
That said, since it's hard, if you're not in a solid stance and swinging properly, you won't get spin and end up with a straight, flat ball that's easy to send long or into the net.
Personally, when paired with an outer arylate-carbon blade, it felt too hard and hard to control; with a softer 5-ply or 7-ply wood blade, the hardness eased off.
If you're willing to give up a bit of power for more stability, I think Rakza X Soft, which has more bounce over the table, suits you better.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard
