Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

Apparently this is a rubber with the same topsheet as Fastarc G1 but a softer sponge, but personally I feel like the performance drops quite a bit. Being softer does make it easier to handle, though.

I'm using the thick (1.8) sponge on the backhand of my Toreiba fi off blade. Using it on the forehand increases stability but I feel a lack of power since it's soft; on the backhand, though, I get stable play without feeling a lack of power. So personally, I'd recommend it on the backhand, with thick or max thickness sponge.

Nothing beats it for stability.
I'd recommend using it on the backhand rather than the forehand.

I used this on my F (forehand) side. It feels quite soft to the touch — just a bit harder than Rakza 7 Soft. Since it's a soft rubber, I think it's easy to bring out its spin and speed performance. Of course, in exchange, the ceiling is lower. Either way, it's just an easy rubber to use overall, so I'd recommend it as a second or third forehand rubber, or on the backhand if you hit with strong impact.

I used this on the forehand of an Innerforce Layer ALC (S1 on the backhand). As expected of Nittaku's flagship rubber, it's easy to handle. It's easy to put spin on, so serves felt very easy to produce.
Pushes also landed without dropping short.
The technique I found easiest was blocking —
there's a reassuring feeling that the ball will land solidly on the opponent's side.
Topspin drives felt a little harder to do since the sponge is soft.
Still, it's more than enough performance for a 1st or 2nd year junior high schooler.

Super stable. It's a rubber that has no weird quirks and can do just about anything. That said, maybe it's just me, but it feels a bit pricey. Probably because it's part of the Fastarc series. I think this rubber is great for beginners. If you're running inverted rubber on both sides, I'd go max thickness on the forehand and thick on the backhand. I think it goes with pretty much any blade. It works for beginners and advanced players alike. I'd recommend using it on the backhand.

I think this rubber is best used on the backhand!
First, since it's soft, it doesn't fly too much, so you can block and handle the short game stably. For topspin drives, if you hit while consciously letting the ball sink into the sponge, you get a lot of spin and stability. Counters are a bit tricky, but I think they land more easily if you imagine hitting down on the ball from above.
My recommendation is definitely forehand G-1 max thickness and backhand C-1 thick! With that combination, I think the ball will land on the table pretty reliably. Beginners, try it on your forehand; intermediate and above, definitely try it on your backhand!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
