Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

Put it on in April, and it's been really easy to use. The balance is good, and I've been able to sustain longer rallies. I think it's very easy to use even for beginners.

Nittaku choice? Good, but not really my type

Tried this on a 5-ply all-wood blade (Oruebo). It's good, but not really to my taste.
Serves have a good bite and are easy to adjust for length. Receives and the short game are quite stable. Topspin drives are stable on both forehand and backhand, and the backhand drive in particular is easy to use and really nice. It's also easy to lift backspin. Meeting the ball hard-style shots feel like the rubber can't quite handle it. Maybe I got an oddly hard sheet, but it felt harder than my friend's C1, and different from G1 too — hard to put into words. The feel on contact is so-so.
Something similar might be Rakza X Soft? (I actually preferred that one.) It really is a good rubber though, so I'd say give it a try at least once.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'd been practicing my backhand for a year with Fastarc S1 and had gotten a general feel for handling it, so I switched to this one hoping for even more spin. The hardness went up, and my counters and handling of backspin improved. I sometimes use a flat, pushed-in hit close to the table, and with this rubber the speed dropped a bit compared to S1, but the ball still lands properly on the table with a bit of a knuckleball-like flight, which makes for a pretty nasty ball quality (though it might actually be good for a short too, lol).
I found it hard to put spin on backhand serves, but I was able to make up for that with practice. There's no technique in particular that's especially hard to do, so overall it's a good rubber once you get used to it. That said, for advanced players who can generate strong spin and hit flat, I think it would feel lacking on the forehand — I'd call it a backhand-only, stability-focused rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used the thick version. I was worried it might bounce too much, but even on a full swing it landed on the table, so I could use it with confidence. That said, it did feel a little like the ball slipped off at times, but the balance between price and performance is great, so I'd recommend it.

I bought this to get back into the groove after returning to table tennis after a long break.
It gets solid spin, so serves and loop drives are really easy, and since it doesn't fly like crazy, it lands on the table well.
I've got a decent amount of power, so smashes are also very easy to hit.
Since it lands well, counters are easy too.
I'm from the generation that used to slather on speed glue heavily (maybe it's unfair to compare it to that), so my impression is that it doesn't fly all that much.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used this on my forehand.
My impression: serves got more spin than with Rozena, but topspin drives felt about the same, maybe even a bit lacking — Rozena seemed to push the ball forward more, so I wondered if it had more power.
There isn't much power once you step back from the table, but the stability — landing on the table even on a full swing — was satisfying.Also, on receives, it seemed to have a good kind of insensitivity to spin, which made returning easier.

This rubber has great control, and how easily it takes spin is kind of addictive.
Also, if you're putting it on just one side, forehand or backhand, I'd recommend the forehand.
Of course, it works perfectly well on the backhand too.
