Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

It's pretty slow. I don't think I'll keep using it.
It doesn't get that much spin either. Rather than brushing the ball, you're better off just hitting into it. And since it's soft, the ceiling is low.
It has a just-get-it-in kind of feel, and I wasn't really a fan. Might be good as a second or third rubber though?
Personally, I feel like the topsheet gets damp easily for some reason.
Chops bite well, so I think it's good for choppers or blockers. Wouldn't recommend it on a hard blade.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Really good on the backhand.
Even on a full swing, it doesn't fly too much and lands stably.
It also lasts a long time, which is nice.
But how it flies changes depending on the blade you use,

Switched over from Fastarc G1. I thought G1 was too hard, so I changed.
Since the topsheet is the same as G1, I could switch over without the feel changing all that much. G1 has a higher ceiling for both speed and spin, but in actual matches, the softer C1 was easier to use and more stable. For a junior high schooler, maybe forehand; for a higher level, maybe backhand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used max thickness on my B (backhand) side.
I often serve from the backhand, and it gets good spin along with good speed.
Pushes had more bite than I expected. Sometimes the spin is so heavy that even a loop can't return it. Blocking has proper control too, so I can place the ball where I want.
When you're ready for a change, I'd recommend Fastarc G-1, which has a harder sponge than C-1.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'd recommend this as a backhand rubber. There wasn't any technique that felt hard to do. If you're stuck on choosing a backhand rubber, I think it's worth adding to your list of candidates. It's about average across every technique. If, while practicing with this rubber, you start thinking "I want a bit more speed" or "a bit more spin," that's a sign you're improving, so I think it's a good benchmark for knowing when to switch to a different rubber.

Flick: ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Recommended for the backhand. Being part of the Fastarc series, it has good grip just like G-1. Both the sponge and topsheet are soft, so it also keeps the racket lighter. Control is good and stability is outstanding, so if you use it on the backhand, you'll never lose a backhand exchange — if anything, you can come out ahead. It can be used on the forehand too, but it's so stable that it doesn't really show its character there. I can't really recommend it for players who rely on ball weight to win points. I'd call it an all-around rubber that ranks right up with, or maybe even ahead of, Rozena.

This is a comparison with G-1. Compared to G-1, the spin is a little weaker, but I think the speed is good. Topspin drives and the like are easy to do too,
