Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

The first thing I thought when I used this rubber was that it's just plain hard. I figured that if C1 was this hard, G1 — a step harder still — would be too hard, so I avoided it, but when I borrowed a friend's G1 and hit with it, I remember it being surprisingly soft. There was probably some individual variation, but it seems like the Fastarc series in general has densely packed pips and feels hard. Because of that, when you brush the ball on serves or loops, it feels like the ball locks onto the rubber, and you get good spin. It's basically easy to handle, and the spin performance is high, so I think it works well on the backhand for intermediate players and up. Highly recommended for anyone who's conscious of getting a high arc.

Borrowed a friend's. Since I think it targets the same kind of player, here's a comparison with Raigan Spin.
Raigan Spin feels like it arcs on its own as it flies,
while C1 has a flatter, more direct trajectory and more speed. It's closer to a speed-oriented tension rubber.
The bounce feels about the same. The spin isn't that different either.
It's like Raigan Spin with speed added. If I had to choose, I'd go with this one.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Using max thickness on both forehand and backhand.
My skill level: advanced on the forehand, intermediate on the backhand.
One small downside on the forehand: against higher-level players, I feel a lack of speed and spin. I tend to get countered and rallies drag on longer,
which is why I currently have a harder, more bouncy rubber on my forehand instead.
On the backhand, I'm currently using this one.
For my backhand, I want a rubber that gives me a decent-quality ball to connect into my strong forehand, along with stability, and this rubber met that need, so I'm using it.
I've tried a lot of things on the backhand —
Tenergy, Dignics, Rozena, Target Pro, Super Ventus...
There were times when spin and speed went up and my scoring rate improved,
but in exchange I ended up struggling with control.

I think it's a pretty good rubber, but it just didn't suit me. A friend told me it spins more than Rozena, but to me it felt like Rozena had more spin. Still, the difference isn't huge. Topspin drives were harder to do than with Rozena. That said, compared to Rozena, I'd still say it's on the easier side to use overall. The techniques I found easiest with Fastarc C1 were counters and blocks. Since this rubber doesn't have much power to begin with, counters and blocks were really easy to pull off. By the way, compared to Rozena or Vega Europe, this rubber is more affected by incoming spin when you push, so at first you might drop quite a few balls with heavy backspin on them. [You get used to it, though.] But in exchange for being more affected by spin, you can get a really biting push in return. Since it didn't suit me, I ended up saying some pretty harsh things about it, but plenty of pros use it too, so if you can master it, I think it's a really good rubber. Oh, and I forgot to mention — when it comes to the push, Fastarc C1 actually generates more spin than Rozena.

It's soft and works on both sides — even I, with 2 years of experience, could handle it. I made it pretty far in a tournament with it too, so I want to keep using it going forward.

The feel is soft and kind of addictive.
It really grips the ball and sends it out properly,
so my topspin drives feel a lot more stable.
The bite on serves is nothing to complain about.
