RAKZA X is the first rubber with NSS (New Surface System), Yasaka’s new production process to improve the grip of the rubber surface. NSS gives a stronger touch when hitting the ball, and the control in both attack and blocking is improved.
In RAKZA X Soft the same surface rubber is working together with a relatively soft sponge, Feel Sponge, with good catapult effect. The combination of the elastic sponge and high grip top sheet increase the the feeling and improves the control of your game.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The majority of reviewers highly praise the ease of imparting spin and control performance. However, many reviews point out insufficient speed, suggesting it is not suitable for power-oriented advanced players or hard rackets. It is recognized as a versatile, easy-to-use rubber for beginners to intermediate players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Soft sponge makes spin easy even for beginners
    • Backspin attacks are easy to lift with stability
    • Speed is modest, not suitable for power-focused players
    • Excellent control performance, usable on both forehand and backhand
    • Slightly shorter lifespan, whitening occurs around 3 months
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe balance between soft sponge and sheet strength is excellent, allowing high-spin shots with minimal effort. It performs well for beginners through intermediate players on both sides, making it a cost-effective classic rubber.
▽ CriticalThe speed is slow, and hitting techniques like drives and short strokes are difficult to execute. For powerful players, the reaction is insufficient, making it unsuitable for advanced levels.

A classic rubber with excellent value for money.
The balance between the strength of the sheet and the springiness of the soft sponge is great, making it the best rubber in its hardness range.
Loop drives that take advantage of the sheet's strength also spin extremely well, and sinking the ball in keeps meet shots stable too. It has good sharpness between soft and hard shots, and the big feature is that it never feels difficult to handle despite that.
I feel like up through high school level, you could compete just fine with it on both forehand and backhand.

This is a comparison with Vega Europe. Rakza X Soft is soft just like Europe, so it's very easy to put spin on. So I'd recommend it to people who want to learn how to drive, or who like rubbers with a good ball-holding feel. As for speed, it doesn't just come out on its own — you get it by swinging. It depends on the blade you use, but I'd say it's basically the same as Europe. To sum up,
Spin: Europe = Rakza X Soft? Speed: Rakza X Soft ≥ Europe. Stability: Europe ≥ Rakza X Soft
that's about the gist of it. As for ease of use, it's top notch.

Week (Experience: 4〜5 years) The ultimate combination

      Reviews by user

The combination of Rakza X Soft and Al Neid is amazing. Rakza X Soft doesn't have much speed on its own, but if you sink the ball in, Al Neid's speed kicks in and you can hit fast smashes — flicks work the same way. As for spin, if you hook it, it curves way too much; you can easily control the strength just by relying on the rubber. Keep the racket horizontal and the ball stays low and skids through. It grips the ball so well that even a slight flick of the wrist makes it curve left or right, and opponents say they can't read the spin. Because the ball sits on the rubber so well, you can aim right at the sidelines. For chiquita, you can adjust how much you sink the ball in to control a fast chiquita or a curving chiquita — serves work the same way. The weak point is the YG serve: a long YG is easy, but a short YG often gets caught by the rubber and ends up in the net. Timing a passing shot is difficult. The biggest advantage is being able to hook a ball that comes sharply into the corner with the Rakza side, then follow up with a counter-smash using the Al Neid side — on the backhand you can aim at both sidelines. Catching it just off the side of the net feels great, and even hitting with the edge of the blade still lets you control the ball. Since third-ball attacks come back with a lot of spin, practicing serve-and-third-ball attacks is tough. This combination takes the best of both Raygun and Rakza 7 Soft.

Doraibu (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to use

      Reviews by user

I have it on both sides. Since it's on the softer side, it's easy to put spin on. The speed is so-so, but it's easy to control, so I'd recommend it for intermediate players.

Haneko (Experience: 6〜10 years) Easy to use

      Reviews by user

Overall it was really easy to use. It handled every technique competently, and the ball quality felt so-so.
Personally, I got the impression that relaxing my swing produced good shots.
I think advanced players would find it too soft, so I'd say it's more suited to beginners through intermediate players.

Chiquita (Experience: Less than a year) Outstanding stability

      Reviews by user

I use it in my junior high club team. It's my second rubber, and I have it on both the forehand and backhand sides. The spin really does grab well. Since it's soft, it's stable. However, on the backhand side, the ball releases slowly and tends to float a bit. The speed is decent. I think it also pairs well with a harder blade.

      Hattifattener snake It's OK!!!!!!

      Reviews by user

If you just swing upward, backspin comes up easily. It's a great pick for beginners who haven't yet learned how to drive against backspin!! I am a little concerned about the shorter lifespan. After about a month of practicing three times a week, even cleaning it leaves a bit of residue behind. This rubber made my forehand a strength of mine. It's a matter of personal preference, but it was too soft for my backhand. It was great on the forehand though!! I'd recommend it for people who want to build a feel for putting spin on the ball, people who want to easily lift backspin, and for beginners' forehands!!
