RAKZA X is the first rubber with NSS (New Surface System), Yasaka’s new production process to improve the grip of the rubber surface. NSS gives a stronger touch when hitting the ball, and the control in both attack and blocking is improved.
In RAKZA X Soft the same surface rubber is working together with a relatively soft sponge, Feel Sponge, with good catapult effect. The combination of the elastic sponge and high grip top sheet increase the the feeling and improves the control of your game.

The ball-holding feel is really good, and drives land consistently!
The short game also has nothing particularly hard about it — the consistency is outstanding!
Meet-hitting is also possible, but maybe the ball-holding worked against me here, because unless I set the angle correctly from the start, it felt a bit tricky. The other things that bothered me were that the speed isn't that high and the weight is on the heavy side.

This is a rubber with really good grip on the ball. It also sinks in nicely, so serves and pushes get plenty of spin. Short-game play is stable. As for drives, you can produce stable shots with a lot of spin. That said, the speed is a bit lacking, and depending on your skill level, I felt it was hard to put away a shot in one hit.
Other than that, there's really no downside, and I can recommend it to spin-oriented playing styles, or to anyone who's undecided on which rubber to pick.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used it on a Chinese-style penhold blade, switching it between the forehand and backhand sides.
It's a combination of a firmer sheet and a softer sponge, but for me it worked out well — not too soft on the forehand, and not too hard on the reverse side.
Even when I'm thrown off balance a bit, I can still return the ball with stability, and there are no particular weaknesses in serves or short-game handling either. Personally, the technique I felt the most confidence with was meet-hitting, which I could swing into regardless of forehand or backhand.
Basically, it suits players who attack close to mid-distance from the table. I haven't tried it myself, but I imagine players who play from away from the table or who are good at transferring power would go with the regular X instead.The one thing that bothers me is the weight. Even though it's the soft version, at thick it can end up over 50g after cutting, so it's a bigger burden for anyone who isn't confident in their arm strength or stamina. (I put it on the whole surface of a Chinese-style penhold blade and regretted it.)

It's not too hard and not too soft, and it generates quite a bit of speed! The spin is so-so, but the ball rises up well and doesn't slip easily. The lifespan is also relatively long, so it's a good rubber overall, but the weight being a bit heavy was something that bothered me.

This is the rubber I used when switching over from a Chinese tacky rubber. I could use it without worrying about anything at all. Even if my racket angle was a little off, the ball would still land on the table.

I put it on an Inner Force Layer ALC, and drives just grab the ball no matter what.
Serves get spin once you get used to it, but blocking gets affected by the opponent's spin and the ball pops up on its own, making it really hard to control — it just goes flying unpredictably.
However, meet-hitting with a light touch lands well.
Personally, the grip was too strong and I found it hard to use. It probably pairs well with a hard blade (it didn't pair well with the Inner Force).
Comparing it to the regular Rakza X, the X is easy for beginners to over- or under-hit in a bad way (it doesn't fly unless you swing through firmly), so if you're confident in your swing, go with the X; if not, go with the Soft.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I used it on the forehand side of a Hadraw VK.
Spin and control felt good. No quirks to it. I'd recommend it for both forehand and backhand. It seems suited to being your 3rd or 4th rubber.
If you hit with a form like Tomokazu Harimoto's, you can produce really impressive drives. The trajectory is similar to the G-1. Serves also got plenty of spin.
That said, after using it for about 3 months the performance drops off a bit. You get occasional mystery drops in quality, and serves get harder to put spin on. Even so, it's not an issue at all for practice use, so it seems like it could last 4-5 months.
It's easy to use, so I'd definitely recommend it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
