RAKZA X is the first rubber with NSS (New Surface System), Yasaka’s new production process to improve the grip of the rubber surface. NSS gives a stronger touch when hitting the ball, and the control in both attack and blocking is improved.
In RAKZA X Soft the same surface rubber is working together with a relatively soft sponge, Feel Sponge, with good catapult effect. The combination of the elastic sponge and high grip top sheet increase the the feeling and improves the control of your game.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The majority of reviewers highly praise the ease of imparting spin and control performance. However, many reviews point out insufficient speed, suggesting it is not suitable for power-oriented advanced players or hard rackets. It is recognized as a versatile, easy-to-use rubber for beginners to intermediate players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Soft sponge makes spin easy even for beginners
    • Backspin attacks are easy to lift with stability
    • Speed is modest, not suitable for power-focused players
    • Excellent control performance, usable on both forehand and backhand
    • Slightly shorter lifespan, whitening occurs around 3 months
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe balance between soft sponge and sheet strength is excellent, allowing high-spin shots with minimal effort. It performs well for beginners through intermediate players on both sides, making it a cost-effective classic rubber.
▽ CriticalThe speed is slow, and hitting techniques like drives and short strokes are difficult to execute. For powerful players, the reaction is insufficient, making it unsuitable for advanced levels.

Yamata no Orechi (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to spin!

      Reviews by user

I use the max thickness version on my forehand.
This rubber makes it especially easy to put spin on the ball, and I had no trouble getting speed on serves and drives. It's also easy to control, so I recommend it.

A rubber that won't lose to spin. Its softness also makes it easy to control. Hard shots go in obediently too.

No quirks, easy to use. It harmonizes well with a hard carbon blade. With just the right softness and ball-holding feel, it keeps a wild blade under control.

    • Gengar

Gengar (Experience: 6〜10 years) For those seeking stability against backspin

      Reviews by user

I hit with the thick version on the backhand of a Ma Lin Carbon. Weight was 47.1g.
The ball lifts up well, so it's very easy to drive against backspin.
Since it's soft, you don't get all that much speed, but you do get spin.
The price is reasonable too, so if you want to stabilize your backspin drives, you can't go wrong picking this rubber.

Morumofu (Experience: 4〜5 years) God-tier rubber

      Reviews by user

It's not like any one thing stands out as amazing, but it's an all-around rubber that can do everything. It really can do it all — you can use it on forehand or backhand, it doesn't demand a particular blade, and the hardness is just right, so I think it'll feel right for anyone. If you're not sure what to pick, go with this one!

I had it on my backhand.
Since it's soft, the appeal was that the ball flies even with light effort.
When hitting hard, it felt like the rebound wasn't enough and the ball would drop.
I'd recommend it for players with a weaker impact or for women players.

Fore table (Experience: 2〜3 years) Amazing spin

      Reviews by user

This is a comparison with Rakza X when used on the backhand.
      Speed: Rakza X wins.
      Spin: Rakza X Soft wins.
      Control: Rakza X Soft wins.
Rakza X is hard, so you don't get a good ball unless you swing all the way through,
but with Rakza X Soft, even a little effort puts a ton of spin on the ball and produces a good shot.
However, Rakza X has more speed, so which one you should use will probably depend on whether you prioritize speed or spin.
