RAKZA X is the first rubber with NSS (New Surface System), Yasaka’s new production process to improve the grip of the rubber surface. NSS gives a stronger touch when hitting the ball, and the control in both attack and blocking is improved.
In RAKZA X Soft the same surface rubber is working together with a relatively soft sponge, Feel Sponge, with good catapult effect. The combination of the elastic sponge and high grip top sheet increase the the feeling and improves the control of your game.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The majority of reviewers highly praise the ease of imparting spin and control performance. However, many reviews point out insufficient speed, suggesting it is not suitable for power-oriented advanced players or hard rackets. It is recognized as a versatile, easy-to-use rubber for beginners to intermediate players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Soft sponge makes spin easy even for beginners
    • Backspin attacks are easy to lift with stability
    • Speed is modest, not suitable for power-focused players
    • Excellent control performance, usable on both forehand and backhand
    • Slightly shorter lifespan, whitening occurs around 3 months
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe balance between soft sponge and sheet strength is excellent, allowing high-spin shots with minimal effort. It performs well for beginners through intermediate players on both sides, making it a cost-effective classic rubber.
▽ CriticalThe speed is slow, and hitting techniques like drives and short strokes are difficult to execute. For powerful players, the reaction is insufficient, making it unsuitable for advanced levels.

TAKA God (Experience: 4〜5 years) Good for backhand!

      Reviews by user

Using the Yasaka custom Neid Inner.
I started out using it on forehand, but it was too soft there, so I moved it to backhand.
First off, the grip on the ball is insane, and since the sheet is firm, when you hook the ball with the sheet and send it flying you get a backhand loop drive with crazy amounts of spin.
If you sink the ball in on forehand, you can blow right past your opponent in one shot.
For me it was just right on backhand, but it's a rubber you can use on either side. If you have solid fundamentals, you should definitely try it at least once

PingPongMan (Experience: 6〜10 years) Plenty of spin.

      Reviews by user

I used it on both sides of a Swat Power for a while. With a light touch it doesn't fly too far, so short-game play is easy. Also, when you hit hard, it generates a decent amount of speed, so I think it has good consistency for keeping the ball on the table. It also puts good spin on the ball. That said, once your swing speed picks up, you might feel like the power doesn't transfer as well when you hit hard.

Intermediate (Experience: 2〜3 years) Great control and spin

      Reviews by user

I use it at max thickness on my backhand, and the control and spin are just great. I'm the type who likes to play tricky, and this makes it easy to read my opponent and catch them off guard since it's so easy to use and control — I went from not being able to win matches to actually winning, so I'd recommend it to beginner and intermediate players who can't seem to win.

There's no technique that feels hard to pull off with this! If I had to nitpick, I'd want just a bit more speed.

Bule_ciel (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to control!

      Reviews by user

I thought it was a rubber that's easy to control.
That said, it feels a bit hard to generate speed with.
I think it's a bit hard to use for players who lean toward a close-to-the-table, fast-attack style.
On the other hand, I'd recommend it for people who want to hit loop drives easily and who value consistency.
I lean a bit toward close-to-the-table fast attack myself, so my smashes didn't get any faster, and I felt like my main weapon lost a lot of its effectiveness.

      Lakza (Experience: 2〜3 years) Nice!

      Reviews by user

Using red 2.0mm on the forehand.

      Really great!
It puts good spin on the ball, and a ball that's popped up stays stable even with a meet-hit, so I think it's great!
I can hit reasonably well even from farther back, so that's good too.
      It's suited to intermediate players.
It also works on the backhand for advanced players.
If you're an advanced player wanting it for the forehand, I'd recommend the regular Rakza X instead.
      Sorry for the long review.

hiroshi (Experience: More than 20 years) Outstanding stability

      Reviews by user

I switched over from Tenergy 05. With Tenergy, I kept overshooting easy chance balls, so I switched after hearing good things about this one. The consistency is insanely good. Advanced players might find it a bit lacking, but for someone not very skilled like me, it's a truly appreciated rubber. I'd recommend it to beginners too.
