    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
An advanced-level rubber that demands strong impact and high technique in exchange for exceptional performance. The dual achievement of rotation and speed, as well as increased power, receive high praise, but difficulty in handling and increased weight are noted as issues.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Overwhelming hardness delivers tremendous power and speed
    • Abundant spin and easy-to-execute short game techniques
    • Designed for hard hitters with power
    • Weak touches and mis-hits result in flat balls
    • Heavier than regular 05 with faster wear
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe drive power is incredible, and while it maintains a proper arc, it achieves equal or greater speed than V15. The counter-attack under heavy spin is surprisingly stable with overwhelming power.
▽ CriticalToo hard for me to handle well. Fine techniques are difficult, and the lightness that was Tenergy's advantage has completely disappeared, so I feel there's little reason to choose this over regular 05.

I'd recommend this for people who used to play with tacky rubber that lets you sink the ball in, or for players with a lot of power. In the short game the ball doesn't sink in easily, so it's easy to keep it under control, but I found quick exchanges pretty tough.

Too much (Experience: More than 20 years) A Tenergy 05 that works fine even with an outer ZLC blade

      Reviews by user

With balls as hard as the Nittaku plastic ball, a soft, light copy of Tenergy 05 can sometimes shoot straight into the table on impact.
Before, I had to hand-pick a hard copy to pair with an outer ZLC blade, but with this rubber I don't have to worry about that.
Even a somewhat forceful, flat counter drive taken off a heavily spun loop drive after dropping the contact point still comes in stable.
Compared to Hurricane-type rubbers, the ball tends to come off more predictably, but since it sinks lower than T05, I feel like it's harder for opponents to counter it in one shot.
Also, maybe because it's harder, it feels bouncier than T05.
The weight for a Timo Boll blade size came to 52g, which is 2g more than a hard copy of T05.
That's about the same weight as an advanced-level German rubber.
Being heavy, hard, and short-lived could be a drawback. But if you can handle it, the performance is really excellent.

Table tennis life Tatchan (Experience: 4〜5 years) Feels like the weak points of tacky rubber are gone

      Reviews by user

Recommended if you want tacky-rubber-like spin but your swing doesn't suit tacky rubber, or if you feel Tenergy 05 lets the ball sink in too much.
If you've got power, 05 Hard is better than regular 05.
That said, you need to watch out — if you don't get a solid impact, it turns into a flat, easy ball. It feels a bit different from 05.
It doesn't fly too high compared to 05, and in the short game you can cut it with a soft touch and keep it low.
For loops, you get spin instantly, and just focusing on keeping it a bit low sends it low and shallow — no complaints there.
When you hit hard you have to get a proper impact.
A soft hit won't carry, but a hard hit flies through nicely.
You can flick low balls with confidence. Stop shots using spin come out short too.
Even borderline balls can be placed low with confidence.
The trade-off is you need to hit from a solid, stable stance.

Ito-chan (Experience: 2〜3 years) Insane hitting feel

      Reviews by user

I put this on after switching my blade to the SK7 Classic.
I'd been using a carbon blade before, so I picked this one wanting more speed. My first impression when I hit with it was... (what is this!? the feel is insane!) The ball really sinks into the rubber, so it was incredibly easy to put spin on it! I'd never used it before, so... I'm really glad I got to find out how amazing Tenergy is. I'm still not very skilled so I can't put it into words very well, but it's great, so I really want people to try it!!

AIUEO (Experience: 6〜10 years) World's fastest

      Reviews by user

I bought it because I wanted more speed.
The Hard version has a ton of speed — you can hit fast balls from anywhere, and it feels really satisfying.
I wouldn't recommend it if you lack power or have a weak core.
It matches well with any blade.

      BACK (Experience: 4〜5 years)

      Reviews by user

I got to try hitting with my junior teammate's rubber.
I normally use Turbo Blue, and this felt quite a bit softer.
I only got clean, controlled shots out of it, so it felt a little lacking on the forehand.
It was really good on the backhand though, so from now on I want to switch my backhand to this!
If you can hit with strong impact, I think it'd work great on the backhand too.

      Cacao (Experience: 6〜10 years)

      Reviews by user

The quality of my quick loop drives and speed drives went up,
and since I get curving shots even in rallies, it's very easy to attack with an advantage — but I found the short game a bit tricky, so if you want a more stable short game too, I'd recommend regular Tenergy 05 instead.
