    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
An advanced-level rubber that demands strong impact and high technique in exchange for exceptional performance. The dual achievement of rotation and speed, as well as increased power, receive high praise, but difficulty in handling and increased weight are noted as issues.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Overwhelming hardness delivers tremendous power and speed
    • Abundant spin and easy-to-execute short game techniques
    • Designed for hard hitters with power
    • Weak touches and mis-hits result in flat balls
    • Heavier than regular 05 with faster wear
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe drive power is incredible, and while it maintains a proper arc, it achieves equal or greater speed than V15. The counter-attack under heavy spin is surprisingly stable with overwhelming power.
▽ CriticalToo hard for me to handle well. Fine techniques are difficult, and the lightness that was Tenergy's advantage has completely disappeared, so I feel there's little reason to choose this over regular 05.

Apple (Experience: 11〜20 years) Strongest for forehand

      Reviews by user

It's the hard version of Tenergy 05.
Put it on your forehand and you get monster shots.
This is exactly what they mean by "even stronger than strong."
No doubt about it, this is a rubber for hard hitters.

Hiropon @ Kanto (Experience: 2〜3 years) A wonderful rubber!! But it has a weakness……

      Reviews by user

I moved from Tenergy 05 to Dignics 05,
and while the spin and power of Dignics were amazing, the ball flew too far and I started overshooting a lot, so I tried 05 Hard.

On paper the specs make 05 Hard sound really hard, but when I actually hit with it, it's just as easy to use as regular 05.

When you really crack the ball, the power and spin are beyond normal 05.

      Overall I'm quite satisfied.

But there are two weak points.
      One is the weight.
Just switching to 05 Hard added 6g.
Of course there's variation between individual sheets, but there's no doubt it's on the heavy side.

The second is how weak the ball is on a mishit.
Combined with the weight I mentioned, if your swing is late or you mishit, you get absolutely nothing good out of it.

I wouldn't recommend it if your game is built around quick exchanges and small technique.

If you want more power than 05!
If you want to blow through with one shot!
Then this is for hard hitters like that.

Impact pride (Experience: 4〜5 years) A tacky rubber without the downsides

      Reviews by user

Just like the title says, this is a dream rubber that gets rid of the downsides of tacky rubber. In a good way, the ball comes off rough, and if you get a solid hit on it, the quality of the shot is on par with or better than Hurricane. Both the speed and the spin are top level, but when you factor in the price and lifespan, there are definitely cost and impact issues to consider. I guess this really is a rubber for top-level players.

I like cats (Experience: 4〜5 years) Not that hard?

      Reviews by user

I bought this thinking Tenergy 05 felt too soft, and it turned out great. Personally, hitting backspin balls and topspin rallies are easy with it, and I never feel like I'm losing out to the ball. If you've used Chinese rubber and found it a bit hard to handle, I think you'd be satisfied with this.
That said, I'd recommend it for high schoolers and up, once your form is solid.

Chiquitaman (Experience: More than 20 years) Power has increased

      Reviews by user

I'm using it on a Timo Boll ALC, and I'm getting more power on the ball than when I had Tenergy 05 on it. That said, on soft touches I think the power was a bit less than 05. So you don't get the power unless you can swing through properly. For the short game like stops and chiquitas, the sheet felt firm and solid, so it was easy to use.

I'll compare it to V15 Extra, which I used to use on my forehand.
Compared to V15, it felt way harder — the sponge is extremely hard, not even in the same league as V15.
I think the destructive power on topspin drives is top-level even among rubbers, and you can hit it even from away from the table.
On serves, since it's harder than V15, if you can't put spin on it properly the serve will float.
Thinking about it that way, V15 isn't actually all that hard, huh.
05 Hard has power, decent bounce, and lets you hit even from away from the table, plus it's stable on blocks too.
A lot of top players use it, so why not give it a try?
But if the short lifespan and the price are tough for you, I think something like V15 would be better.

SYANA (Experience: 6〜10 years) Close to a tacky rubber

      Reviews by user

I felt like Tenergy 05 was too soft, so I tried this instead.
As for how to hit it, if you swing the same way you would with 05, the ball doesn't hold on the rubber and you'll overshoot.
If you focus on catching the top of the ball and swinging straight through like you would with a tacky rubber, you can generate powerful shots.
The short game is also easy to use, and the amount of spin on stop shots, especially pushes, goes up, making it easier to draw errors from your opponent.
Serves also get a spin level close to tacky rubber, making first-ball attacks easier.
It's aimed at advanced players and is hard to handle, but it has a lot of upsides, so I feel like I'll keep using it going forward.
