I switched over from Hurricane NEO3.
The first thing I thought after hitting with it was that it's really heavy!!
My backhand is Hurricane Pro 2, so I have tacky rubber on both sides, but even so, this one is heavy.
The difference from the NEO3 was huge.
Performance-wise, it barely bounces at all on light hits, but it bounces a ton on hard hits!!
If you use those characteristics well with the tacky style, it can produce all kinds of drives and turns into a really great rubber with insane power.

The good points are that when you swing all the way through you get a really great ball, the speed is fast, and the short game is easy to play!
The bad points are that it's heavy! If you don't swing all the way through you get a straight, spinless ball! It's hard to handle!

To put it plainly, this rubber is the strongest once you master it!
It suits intermediate to advanced players. It might not be great for people who just started playing table tennis.
I'd recommend putting it on your forehand.I felt the serve spin was really strong!
My first impression was that it's quite hard, and unless you swing all the way through on your drives, the ball sometimes just won't go in.
If you let the ball sink in, you can hit great drives!
For speed drives, you won't get spin unless you have a lot of power.
The weakness is, as expected, the lack of control...
And maybe because it's Chinese rubber, even brand new it has scratches, and the sponge you use to clean the rubber ends up smelling bad.Summary
I'd recommend this rubber to people who are confident in their swing!

The Hurricane Turbo Blue could be called the flagship of tacky rubbers. When I was a beginner, I thought Hurricane meant only this one rubber, but once I started learning more about equipment, I found out there are all sorts of Hurricane variants. Among the Nittaku-made ones, this Hurricane is on a whole different level of hardness. It's really not something you should use without understanding what you're getting into. The spin is insane, but it's hard to get speed out of it. Compared to tension rubber, it's like night and day. So I can't recommend it to people who've only used tension rubber and whose drives aren't spin-based. But if you want to try tacky rubber, I think it's worth giving a shot once.

I'm currently using this on my forehand rubber!
Being tacky, the topspin drive gets a ton of spin. But because the sponge is hard, you don't get much spin on a speed drive unless you have a lot of power. Actually, I can't get very heavy balls on my own speed drives either...
That said, I think this rubber's biggest strength is countering. If you use the power of the opponent's shot, the ball sinks into the sponge fairly well even if your own power is a bit lacking. I'm actually a chopper, and I've been scoring more points off counters lately.
As for smashes, if you put in a strong impact you can more or less ignore spin and still get the ball in, and the faster you swing, the more speed you get and the more stable it becomes.
For chops, since I personally use a fairly fast blade, I can make use of the rebound to produce knuckle chops, or let the ball sink into the sponge for a sharply spinning chop.
Also, since this rubber is quite heavy, it's easy to swing down into your chops, so I think it's a great match for choppers.
That said, be careful — if you don't use a soft blade, beginner-to-intermediate players will probably end up hitting a lot of straight, spinless balls, lol.

Since I switched from Turbo Orange to Blue, here's a review comparing the two.
Orange was already heavy, but this one is even heavier...■Speed
Light hits: Orange > Blue
Hard hits: Blue > Orange
Weak drive: Orange > Blue
Strong drive: Blue > Orange
Serve: Blue > OrangeIf you put more impact into it, the Blue runs faster, but it's completely a manual-only rubber.
I no longer get the "sluggish serve" issue I used to have with the Orange.■Spin
Loop drive: Blue > Orange
Speed drive: Blue > Orange
Serve: Blue > OrangeThe Blue overwhelmingly wins here,
but that's assuming you can do the tacky stroke.
If you use a tension-style stroke, the Orange wins out.
(Or rather, you basically get no spin at all with the tension stroke on the Blue.)The ball gets really erratic, so people blocking against it say it's "difficult."

If you can properly do a brush-and-hit stroke, you can use this, but the sponge is quite hard, so without gorilla-level power and a fast swing you won't get the full potential out of it. I think it's hard to make full use of it unless you're the kind of person who obviously hits the gym and trains hard. If you're just going to serve, push, and do loop drives, anyone used to Chinese rubber can handle it, but without gorilla power for a strong power drive, this rubber lacks that finishing punch. It's a really great rubber, but it's tough without both the technique and the physicality. In the end, it demands a lot of raw strength (-｡-;
