I was using the MAX thickness.
Personally I felt like the ball flew off before it really grabbed spin, and I didn't feel the ease of use that gets praised so much in videos and elsewhere.

The first impression is that it flies a lot, so if you're not used to it, it bounces too much to control. But once you get used to it, it's fun. The downside is that it degrades in 1-2 months, so sometimes the ball just drops.

I switched to the Green 2.0.
Green looks awesome!
I used to use the UM, but even the 2.0 really flies.
Even the 1.7 flies quite a lot, so it's not suited to players who want to play the short game close to the table. I think it suits people who want intense rallies from mid-to-far distance, or who want to blast the third ball.
As for spin, if you brush it thin you can produce a ball with about as much spin as TENERGY 05. But despite having that much spin, it also carries a lot of speed and drives deep into the opponent's court.
Smashes and speed drives also give you that signature Rasant explosive-speed ball with its own quirky character.
That said, as others have said too, the short game flies too much and is hard to control...
Using it on the backhand is basically a safe bet.
In my case I have an unusual rubber on my backhand, so I used this on forehand, but if you don't swing through firmly, the ball flies before you get spin on it and leads to net misses, so it's safer to get a feel for the grip first with something like Rozena or the R42.
It's not the type that appeals to everyone, but it's an extremely high-spec rubber that lets you play at a high level on both forehand and backhand, so please do give it a try!!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I bought the Green UM.
My first impression was: this really flies!
Maybe even women could get it flying easily?
If you take a full swing, I'd recommend the 2.0 instead.
Speed and spin are both beyond complaint!
The green looks awesome! It stands out at tournaments lol
Moving up from Rasant R42-45 is the best path!
It's expensive, but it has the same potential as Dignics!

Since Tenergy 05's price went up, I looked for a cheaper alternative and ended up here.
It doesn't grip the ball for spin as much as Tenergy, but the sound and bounce are almost the same, so switching over went smoothly.
There are two disappointing points.
(1) When new, the surface seems to be coated with something like a booster and is swollen, but when you peel off the adhesive layer, that booster-like coating seems to come off with it, so when you try to mount it a second time, the rubber has shrunk quite a bit and you can only mount it while stretching it out.
(2) The sheet degrades quickly, and the surface gets grimy after about two months.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I have the black 2.0 mounted on the backhand of my ZX-GEAR IN.
I'm good with backhand technique, and while looking for a rubber that's easy to control while still having power, I found this one, and after trying it I was able to produce better balls than with my old rubber.
The drive, chiquita, push, and stop all got higher quality, and I got more power too.
Serves bite really well too, and it's great on the forehand as well. Next, I'm thinking of switching from the V>15 Extra Blue I currently have on my forehand to Rasant R48 Green. Colored rubbers are fun!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'm using the 2.0 on my forehand — the drive has real weight to it. The smash is fast too. Pushes land well too! It really flies.
