I like Rasant so I bought this one. The drive against topspin was really good, both in speed and spin, but because of how the rubber is built, you have to really sink the ball down into the sponge or you won't get a good shot. I do a fair amount of grazing/looping shots, but if you catch the ball thin, you end up with a weak, low-spin ball. The basic techniques like serve, receive, and block were also easy to do. Bottom line, it's just not suited to hitting the ball thin.

No complaints about the spin on serves!! Also, if you swing all the way through on the drive, an amazing ball comes out!!
That said, this might be partly because my racket was heavy (Rakza X max thickness + Rasant R48 2.0 + Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC), but if I don't swing all the way through on backspin balls, they drop into the net.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'd heard it was 48 degrees so I figured it would be hard, but it was softer than I expected.
I used to have Rozena on, but I felt this bounces harder than Rozena and gets more spin too.
The spin is less than a tacky rubber, but personally I think it's pretty strong for a tension rubber. I think you really see what's good about Rasant when you play a bit away from the table.
Since the sponge is softer than the R53, I felt like that really brings out Rasant's strengths even more. In short, this is the strongest.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'm using the UM thickness on my backhand.
At first I was surprised by how fast the ball came off it, but now I'm satisfied with how easy it is to block and how sharp the ball is when I counter.
It's satisfying to hit forehand with too, but rising-ball drives were a bit tough.
Instead, meet shots are easy to hit, and especially when I drop back on the backhand side and hit a meet-style drive, the ball gets really nasty, so it's fun to hit with.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Personally it feels about 2-3 degrees softer than its rating.
It's a rubber that gets its speed from the top sheet and sponge together, so I'd recommend an inner-ply or straight plywood blade.
With that kind of setup, the ball holds well on the racket, so even on a reflex swing you still get solid spin — recommended.
It's an all-around rubber for everyone, so its downside is that the ball doesn't get all that unpredictable.
It can be recommended for both forehand and backhand, so if you're not sure, you can't go wrong picking this one.

If you want a stable, rally-based style of play,
you can't go wrong buying this.
Drives that never used to go in
all go in now!
That said, it's better to use a stroke where you sink the ball in rather than just grazing it.
And the ball goes exactly where you're aiming.
Blocks are stable too.
Pushes and stops are no problem at all.
Serves come out stable too.
It didn't feel all that hard.And the compatibility with the Innerforce Layer ZLF
was fantastic.Give it a try!

The sheet is soft and I felt the ball sink into it well. It puts on spin and it's easy to control too. I don't think you'll regret buying it!
