It's really soft, and when I hit with it I felt a metallic-sounding click.
It's easy to put spin on and the arc is high, but on serves I didn't get much of an impression of spin, so I think the spin really comes out when the ball sinks deep into the sponge.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Lately everyone around me keeps talking about Tenergy this, Dignics that, so figuring it was all just Butterfly stuff, I put Dignics 80 on my forehand and Rasant R48 on my backhand. Dignics really is a good rubber, I'll admit. But Rasant R48 holds its own too — the speed of the backhand drive is on par with Dignics or even better, and the spin is nothing to complain about! Using it on the forehand too, the drive speed and spin are ridiculous! Serves bite well too, it's perfect! And the price is a bit cheaper on top of that, so I highly recommend it.

I tried it after hearing it's similar to Tenergy (I figured I'd get hooked otherwise). I've never actually hit with real Tenergy, so this comparison is against the rubbers people say are "Tenergy-like" — Ventus Extra, Evolution MX-P, and Rozena — but this one really holds the ball well. It sinks in and then releases the ball with a feel that makes you question whether it's really 48 degrees. It has a pretty strong "automatic" feel. Despite that, the short game was still easy to play, and it felt great to hit with.
That said, even at 2.0 it gives an impression of really flying, and it's not that it grips a ton or lifts the ball a ton — it draws a stable arc, but since it's not particularly sharp, I was worried about overshooting. I felt like I needed to swing through properly or it would be risky, so I went back to Ventus Extra. All things considered, I think this is a rubber for intermediate-to-advanced players who have the skill to always swing all the way through, whether at 2.0 or even UM.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'm using the 2.0 on my forehand. Even at 2.0 it flies plenty. Lifting backspin is quite easy, and basically it's a godly rubber that can do everything. There's no problem using it on the backhand either. If you're on the fence, definitely go with this rubber!!

Used 1.9 on a ZX-GEAR FIBER. My first impression hitting with it was that the feel is similar to Tenergy. Not only that, I really felt that its spin performance surpasses Tenergy and can go toe to toe with Dignics too. There might not be a reason to buy Tenergy anymore. Also, despite being high-end, it felt easy to handle and like a rubber that would appeal to everyone. In any case, I think anyone would be amazed by this rubber's performance, so please do consider buying this racket.

Used on backhand.
First off, the trajectory this rubber produces is amazing.
If you hit it thick, the ball stays low and skids through, then dips. Loop drives also land safely on the table because the arc is high.
So you can swing full out with confidence.
However, I couldn't get much bite on my serves.
I normally use Tenergy 05, so I can't help but compare, and the serve impression wasn't great in comparison.
That said, this rubber has a great sound, so smashing feels really good.

Rasant feels softer when you actually hit with it.
The ball obviously comes off with good pace, but what I really noticed using it was the solid consistency and good ball carry across every technique. Even at the maximum thickness it's still fairly light and easy to swing, and while the ball carries well and is stable, it doesn't have that spin-induced wobble or hum — every ball comes out with a clean, pretty arc. Because of that it's easy for me and easy for my opponent too, so rallies tend to go on longer. Hard hitters will find the ball sinks in too much with the R48 and actually lose power, so for those players the R53 produces more devastating shots. With the V15 you often have to generate the drive yourself, but with the R48 the rubber springs the ball out like a spring, so I felt it's easy to handle even without much power. For counters, it's easier to time your shot to match your opponent's ball. Since the R48 feels soft to me, I'm going to try the R53 next.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
