I used 2.1mm on my forehand. I also tried Max, but for an intermediate player, I'd say 2.1 is the only real choice.
The weight and hardness come down to what you're used to and personal preference. At 2.1mm, I don't think it feels heavy at all.
Compared to 09c, what really stood out as better was countering and serving. I also think the lifespan is on the longer side.
On serves, the topsheet grips the ball well, giving sharp, consistent spin and stable short/long placement even in matches. Since it doesn't have the springy bounce of a sponge like 09c, it has better control.
On counters, beyond just returning the incoming shot, the accuracy on smash-type shots hit from behind - like Mima Ito's style - was outstanding. The topsheet is strong, so I'd also recommend it to players who are good at meeting the ball flat.
What I struggled with was driving during actual matches. In practice, I could produce insane, heavily-spun drives, but in real games, I kept overshooting on rallies and jump-in drives. As a piece of equipment for someone who can't win, it might be too hard to help you win, honestly...
Overall it strikes me as a bit of a "dream weapon," but I'd recommend it to high school and university men's players who can put in enough practice time!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Used MAX thickness on the A side, played on forehand.
It's incredibly heavy, period.
It's about 60g, so you need to think about the blade, the rubber on the other side, side tape, etc. to manage the total weight. Just like the manufacturer's hype says, you need to be prepared for it.Also, it's hard.
When I traveled to a cold region for a tournament, it played like a sheet of steel.
If you want to make the most of light tackiness, I think a harder blade works well, so adjusting hardness through the pairing with the other side's rubber is also an option. (Going from 47.5 to 45 changed the feel a lot.)If you can handle it, you get really good shots.
Stops stay put without flying off, spin bites well, and it's decently fast too.
You can catch over-the-table blocks and even get no-touch points.
But it really is that hard, so I think some people will end up with flat, spinless balls or hit the net from being unable to lift the ball.
I did that repeatedly myself until I got used to it.After using it for about three months, the topsheet seems like it'll last a long time, so I'd recommend it to muscular guys or anyone determined to build up their grip strength.

I use this max thickness on my forehand, and it's fairly heavy.
My first impression using it was that the spin is insanely heavy.
Serves grip hard with tons of spin no matter what — topspin, backspin, sidespin, anything.
On receives too, pushes turn into stops, and stops just die on the spot.
Even a deep push comes out with heavy backspin, and opponents net the ball.
That said, I did find the control a bit tricky.
This rubber flies so much that if you're not used to it, you'll frequently overshoot the table.
On the other hand, when it does go in, the spin is so heavy that it also increases the chance the opponent overshoots.

Max thickness, 60g. Hardness on a Shore C gauge came to 49.3° (for reference, Tenergy 05 was 47g at 44.6°, and Dignics 09C was 50g at 50.8°).
1. Monstrous spin and wobble that rivals Hurricane! 2. It's a tacky rubber, yet it bounces like crazy! 3. Extremely difficult to handle — you need to account for the weight!
The top sheet only has a slight tackiness, not a strong tacky feel. It's not that the ball doesn't sink in — I could feel it sinking in when I touched it — but because the sponge is so dense and rubbery, the ball seems to launch back out before you really feel like you've grabbed it. Even though it's supposed to be a tacky tension rubber, the launch is so good it bounces almost like a spin-oriented tension rubber, and you can smash with it just fine too. On top of that, loop drives come out with an insane amount of spin that actually wins you points, which I really liked. It'll definitely take time before you can use it well, but once you can, I think it's a genuinely fun rubber. Hurricane doesn't bounce anywhere near this much, and Dignics 09C doesn't produce this kind of wobble. For a fan of tacky rubbers, this doesn't feel especially hard. The weight is within an acceptable range too. By the way, I have Hikari on my backhand.
As a rubber, it's for advanced players. The slightest mistake in your swing and you get a storm of long balls or net-ins... But the potential is so high that it makes you want to take the time to really get to know it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This is my second review. This rubber is incredibly hard. It's a tacky rubber, but I think it's in a completely different category from Hurricane and the like. It flies really well. And it lifts the ball up so dramatically that when I swung forward on a low push, the ball shot up with a whoosh and came in on a trajectory that honestly startled me.
Techniques that generate spin, like serves and pushes, bite really sharply. Granted, that's assuming you have the skill to use it, but I think it might be one of the strongest rubbers out there.
