    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The balanced performance between Tenergy 05 and 64 is highly appreciated, with particular praise for stability and ease of use on the backhand. However, poor durability and high price are noted as major drawbacks.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent balance combining 05's spin and 64's speed
    • Outstanding stability and ease of use on backhand
    • Exceptional at short-range techniques like chiquita
    • Strong all-around performance in rallies
    • Short durability and high price point
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveWhile Tenergy rubbers tend to have some sharp edges in performance, Tenergy 80 is perfectly balanced across all aspects. Both drive and block techniques, along with all skill levels, are easily improved.
▽ CriticalWhile it's a very good rubber, the high price and short lifespan are drawbacks. The topsheet wears easily, and the bounce diminishes within a month on the forehand side.

Spin and speed both work together, and the first ball off it was fast. Totally usable for intermediate players.

Zhang Jike fans (Experience: 6〜10 years) Spin and speed both achieved!

      Reviews by user

This was my first time using it, and it's softer than I expected, with great speed and great spin!
I wanted both spin and speed, so I went with Tenergy 80!
      It pairs amazingly well
with the backhand side of a Viscaria and a Zhang Jike ALC!!!
(I bought it because I'm a fan of Zhang Jike ✌️)

chondroitin (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to handle and great!

      Reviews by user

Currently using this on my forehand.
      It's a really good rubber.
Not too hard, not too soft - just right. I don't have much power myself, so I can't really handle hard rubbers on my forehand, lol.
Bottom line, it's a really good rubber. It has speed and plenty of spin. Drives and chops dig deep into the opponent's side of the table. Stops bite and stay short too!
The only thing is serves are a bit hard to produce.
Other than that, I really had no complaints.
This is probably my go-to for a while, haha.
It works great on both forehand and backhand, it's truly a good rubber, so please give it a try.

I used it on my backhand, and drives, meet shots, blocks - everything just goes in.

stone (Experience: 4〜5 years) Easy-to-use rubber

      Reviews by user

Control is good, so it was easy to place the ball where I aimed.
But since it's fast, it was also easy to overshoot.

Yuu. Cutman (Experience: 2〜3 years) Good balance

      Reviews by user

I borrowed a friend's and tried it out!
Personally, meet-shot techniques were easier for me than spin-heavy techniques! Of course, being a Tenergy, spin techniques are easy too, but it falls a bit short of the 05 there. Of course, compared to other rubbers, it's still definitely in the easy-to-use category.
Blocking was also really easy to do. Like the 05, it arcs nicely and stays consistent.
I thought it would be safer to use on the backhand rather than the forehand. If you're a forehand-dominant player and put this on your backhand, I think it's great because you can get the ball in safely!
For chopping, I think the 05 suits better...
If you use a lot of meet-shot techniques, definitely give this a try!

Gengar (Experience: 6〜10 years) A well-balanced rubber, high level all around

      Reviews by user

I played max thickness on the forehand of a Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce ALC. Weight was 46.6g.
Like other reviews say, this rubber is well balanced between the 05 and the 64. It arcs more than the 64 and is faster than the 05. It feels like a consistent rubber, but the ball has weight behind it.
Compared to the Evolution EL-D of the same hardness that I use on my backhand, this feels softer and I can feel the ball holding on the sponge longer.
I think it's an all-around rubber that works well on both forehand and backhand.
