RAKZA X table tennis rubber from Yasaka is the latest addition to the popular and highly successful RAXZA series of Yasaka rubbers. The top sheet is a mainly natural rubber gum, employing a new production method.
The result is a top surface with exceptional grip enabling both phenomenal spin and speed. These qualities reduce the margin for error. This top sheet is then combined with a harder “Power Sponge”. The resulting combination of a faster sponge and high grip top sheet enables you to place the ball accurately with a high degree of success.
Serves and short returns are both very sharp, similar to the Rakza 7 and Rakza 9.
RAKZA X – yet another winning combination from Yasaka!

I tried it out with various techniques, and my main impression was "wow, this is hard, lol."
Whatever power you put into your swing comes straight through into the shot, so it seems tough to use without power.
That said, blocking and the short game were super easy with it, so I liked it and
put it on my backhand. Another appeal is that when you do swing all out, you get a solidly heavy ball. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Teenagers (Experience: 6〜10 years) A rubber built for topspin drives

[Good points]
Especially for drives
- It arcs and then drops sharply on the opponent's side of the table
- The sponge is firm and the sheet is on the softer side, so you get a real feel of gripping the ball, which makes topspin rallies easy
- The sheet itself has strong grip, so you can lift backspin even with an arm-only swing
- On hard shots, the firmness of the sponge shows and produces a great ball
- Compared to other makers, it's high-end but affordable
[Bad points]
- Sometimes it grips the ball too much
- Until you get used to it, the sheet being a bit soft makes stops feel like they float up

Used in max thickness on the forehand. I'll compare it to G-1. G-1 wins on spin, but X still gets plenty of spin too. X leaves the rubber faster. It's easy to swing all the way through on counters, but it's softer than I expected, so counter-drives slip a little (might just be my lack of skill). The arc feels high on light hits, and low/flat on drives. The price is affordable too, so if you're someone who likes to swing hard like Jin Takuya, why not give it a try?

The spin is incredible!
The speed is fast too.
Even in rallies the ball rises up a little, so I don't think you'll make many mistakes in topspin exchanges.
Plus, backspin is easy to lift!
But! Being a bit heavy is its weakness…The fact that Jin Takuya uses it makes me think even pros would approve of this rubber.

Rakza X Soft felt more like a medium hardness rather than truly soft, but this one, by contrast, was softer than I expected.
That said, the ball left the rubber fairly quickly.
On drives, you get a ball with a good balance of spin and speed. The grip is incredible, and lifting backspin balls is effortless.
In topspin rallies, if you can get a solid impact, the ball comes out extremely fast.
Also, it's easy to hit flat, meeting shots, which is another good point. It makes sense that Tezuka from Meitoku Gijuku uses this rubber.
Blocking was a bit difficult since it's easily affected by the opponent's spin.
For serves, if you have a feel for brushing the sheet, you can produce really nasty serves, and short serves are a breeze too.
For receive, rather than spin-heavy plays like pushes and stops, flick-type punching shots are easier to execute and have more power.
The weight is a downside, but I think you can fix that by putting a lighter rubber on the backhand to balance it out.
I'd recommend this for male players who play a lot of topspin rallies. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Awesome (Experience: Less than a year) Rakza X is insane

Serve: 8/10 — easy to use, but putting real bite on it takes skill.
Receive: 6/10 — it's bouncy and sensitive to spin, so a spinny stop or push takes skill.
Drive: 9/10 — no complaints about spin or speed, but you can't fake your way through lifting backspin. If you don't really sink the ball in properly, it won't go in the way you want. Worth trying, but it's the exact opposite of Tenergy — if your form is bad (regardless of whether it looks "clean" or not), it simply won't go in.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Very easy-to-use rubber. If you brush it with a compact serve motion, you get a ton of spin. On forehand drives, the ball sits on the rubber really well, letting you hit powerful, stable topspin drives. That said, if you don't swing fast, you don't get much spin, and it's hard to produce a powerful ball, so I felt this is more for intermediate to advanced players. I'd recommend it for drive players who like to attack with heavy spin.
