RAKZA X table tennis rubber from Yasaka is the latest addition to the popular and highly successful RAXZA series of Yasaka rubbers. The top sheet is a mainly natural rubber gum, employing a new production method.
The result is a top surface with exceptional grip enabling both phenomenal spin and speed. These qualities reduce the margin for error. This top sheet is then combined with a harder “Power Sponge”. The resulting combination of a faster sponge and high grip top sheet enables you to place the ball accurately with a high degree of success.
Serves and short returns are both very sharp, similar to the Rakza 7 and Rakza 9.
RAKZA X – yet another winning combination from Yasaka!

That gripping feeling when you brush upward is really satisfying. It grips well on serves too. If you swing with full force, it can sometimes go long. Bottom line, it's a rubber that generates a lot of spin.

First of all, the spin it generates is amazing.
The speed is more than satisfactory.
Drives especially are easy to hit — you get spin and power both. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

First off, it's hard.
It takes quite a while to get used to.
Whether you brush it or sink it in, you get more than enough spin.
If you catch the ball solidly, you get an amazing shot.

Used on the forehand
Basically, if you can handle it properly, it's a rubber that can do anything.
I'd recommend it to players with a fast swing speed whose drives land consistently. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

It's easy to generate spin with and really easy to use overall. Since switching to this rubber, I've started winning at tournaments too.

I used it on both my forehand and backhand.
I used the thick version, and it flies really well and is suited to topspin rallies too. On the backhand, the power of the chiquita is amazing — I think it works well on both forehand and backhand.
One more thing: it's heavy. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

You can hit drives with lots of spin and speed! Sink the ball in and you get a flatter, more linear trajectory; brush it and you get a high arcing trajectory — so it has properties close to a tacky Chinese rubber. Right after applying it I didn't feel any hardness, but after about two months it started to feel hard, and the ball stopped sinking in and spin dropped off. So the lifespan wasn't as long as I'd hoped. That said, right after applying it, it was really easy to use, so give it a try!

It grips the ball well and generates good spin.
It also holds the ball nicely — I like that about it.
For people who struggle on the backhand, pairing Rakza X with a Matsuken blade works really well.
So I'd say it's more of a backhand rubber! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard
