    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This speed-oriented tension rubber is highly praised for its excellent performance in flat hitting and smashing. However, its low spin capacity and difficulty in skill development are commonly cited challenges.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Produces high speed even with light contact
    • Extremely easy to execute flat hits and smashes
    • Strong defensive capabilities with easy blocking and countering
    • Difficult to generate spin, challenging for counter-topspin
    • Best for beginners and backhand, optimal for front-court attacking
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpeed is generated even with light strokes, and the exhilaration of smashing is unparalleled. Flat hitting is easy to execute, and blocking and countering enter effortlessly, making it ideal for those wanting to try high-tension rubber.
▽ CriticalSpin is difficult to apply, and counter-topspin is nearly impossible. Control is necessary, and in tense matches, overruns are easily committed. It struggles against sticky rubber opponents.

You get speed with flat hits, but otherwise it's mediocre. Hitting against backspin is pretty much impossible. Serves can get about as much spin as a normal rubber once you get used to it, but getting there is tough. Control is really good. But shots hit from further back don't go in well. I have it on my backhand, and since it's less affected by the opponent's spin, backhand drives are easy to hit, but generating your own spin is a bit difficult.

drive man (Experience: 4〜5 years) Speed!!

      Reviews by user

The speed is insane. Hitting it while imagining you're Kenta Matsudaira, the feeling of exhilaration is insane. If you try to add spin by sinking the ball in, it drops. Hitting a backhand drive against backspin with a meeting-the-ball feel also goes in at insane speed. Serves are decent, if you put the spin on yourself instead of relying on the rubber, you get plenty. Put it on the forehand if you're a middle schooler just starting out, or on the backhand if you're an established regular player.

      Reviews by user

It's fast, plain and simple. But since it's soft, you can also do stable loops with it. So I'd recommend it for attacking players who like to build the point with loops and finish it off with a speed ball when the chance comes.

Daio squid (Experience: 6〜10 years) S-tier speed

      Reviews by user

It's good for flat hitting focused more on speed than spin. The trajectory is low and the ball comes out fast, so it's a perfect fit if it matches your playing style.
I saw someone using it on the backhand of a pips-out penhold. The change of pace between the long pips and the S1 worked really well. I'd recommend it for the backhand of a pips-out penhold too.

Table tennis-GT39 (Experience: 2〜3 years) Control and speed, both at once

      Reviews by user

In a word, this rubber is like a Rasanter V47 with a bit less speed and spin, but more control in exchange.
The speed is plenty good, and it doesn't have the quirks that Rasanter has, so I'd recommend it for people who want Rasanter-like speed but also care about control.

Rice stand hair (Experience: 6〜10 years) Hit it right and the speed kicks in!?

      Reviews by user

I have this on the backhand of my STIGA Infinity VPS V. Before this I had Sapphira (max thickness) on there. The sheet started showing noticeable tearing, so I replaced it.

A soft rubber seems to suit my backhand, so I picked Fastarc S-1, which has a reputation for being soft with good speed.

My first impression after actually hitting with it was "it's not as fast as I expected!" It's true that it's faster than Sapphira, but I felt like the Hexer Power Grip I have on my forehand has more speed on both forehand and backhand.

After some trial and error, I found that if you increase your swing speed, the speed does come through. Rather than a full drive, simply snapping the back of the ball flat sends it flying at a satisfying speed.
      I guess that's the characteristic of a speed-focused rubber.

One thing that bothered me is that it feels like the ball doesn't carry as far. Even swinging from mid-distance on the backhand, I started netting the ball more often. When hitting the backhand from a bit further back, lifting the ball a little more reduces the misses, though the power drops a lot when I do that...

I'm satisfied that I've gained one more attacking option on the backhand.

Meat favorite driveman (Experience: 2〜3 years) Strong counter-hitting

      Reviews by user

This was the first backhand rubber I ever re-glued.

(+) Just like the title says, countering is easy. Just hit it flat and it goes in easily.
(+) Blocks and flicks are also really good. Just a tiny flick and it already feels like a counter. There's a sense of the rubber briefly grabbing the ball, so flat hits are stable too. Smashes are great too! Easy to control and crazy fast.

(–) As for pushes and serves... they tend to come out long and don't really bite with much spin, so they're just okay. Still, it seems like you can develop a feel for putting spin on your serve with it. (–) For drives, speed drives are good, but lifting the ball with a loop seems like it'll take some effort because of the bounce.

I'd recommend this for players who like to play fast-paced close to the table, as a forehand rubber for beginners, or as a backhand rubber for players moving from beginner to intermediate level.
