Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

A good rubber that gives you both speed and spin! However, since it's on the harder side, if you don't swing through properly you'll end up with a flat, spinless ball.

These days there are more and more high-performance rubbers in the 6,000-9,000 yen range, but once you actually use G1, you understand why it's competing with Rozena for the top sales spot in Japan. Its spin and ease of use are a cut above other rubbers in the same price range. It might be a bit hard for beginners, but once you get somewhat used to it, it becomes a real weapon. The occasional weird bounce is a bit of a concern, but sometimes that works in your favor against your opponent too. Since it has such good grip on the ball, drives tended to go long until I got used to it, but once I properly sank the ball in, made thicker contact, and swung forward, better shots started going in.

I use this on forehand.
For drives, hitting in a way that sinks the ball into the sponge produced a better shot. With loop drives, I was able to hit the ball low with a good dip. I felt like against backspin, if you can't sink the ball into the sponge, it tends to drop into the net. I also tried hitting a bit on backhand, but it was too hard for me to handle and the ball kept dropping.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'm currently using this on my backhand. (´∀｀)
It's only been about two weeks since I switched, and I haven't been able to practice much, so I'm still not used to it...
My impression is that my drive shots have gotten a lot faster, and I want to keep using it going forward.
Also, a friend of mine uses it on forehand, and when I tried hitting with it there it flew way too much for me to handle.
So I'd recommend using it on backhand.

I have this on the forehand of my andro TIMBER7 off/s. Before this I had Rigan Spin (max thickness) on it. I felt Rigan Spin was too soft on forehand, so I switched to this harder rubber.
This is a comparison with Rigan Spin and Hexer Powergrip (which I have on my Infinity blade).
Compared to Rigan Spin, the feel is harder, but it gives you more of a "solid hit" sensation. There's no comparison in speed or spin - both are much better. It requires more swing speed, but table tennis has become easier for me.
Compared to Hexer Powergrip, which has similar hardness, this felt a bit weaker on speed. Fastarc G-1 wins out on spin. Hexer Powergrip feels more satisfying when hitting a fast drive, while Fastarc G-1 is harder for the opponent to handle. Even though I feel like I'm swinging the same way each time, Fastarc G-1 seems to produce inconsistent amounts of spin.
I didn't feel anything off about the short game either. On drives from mid-distance, it felt like spin was hard to generate unless I really sank the ball into the topsheet.
Personally I prefer Hexer Powergrip, but in matches Fastarc G-1 might make it easier to win points.

Wow, this is great!!! People call it a "post-Tenergy" candidate, but when you factor in price versus performance - basically value for money - I think it's on par with Tenergy, or even better!!! It's a fairly hard rubber, so honestly, if your impact is weak there's not much point using it, but for players who can really commit to the shot, it becomes a huge weapon. Despite being hard, it's also very easy to control, and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it a near-perfect rubber for both speed and spin!!! If I had to name one flaw, it would be that it tends to produce predictable, "honest" balls. But I think its near-perfection outweighs that!!! A really great rubber!!!

This is my current main rubber! I think you'll be satisfied with it on backhand. On forehand it feels like a bit of a waste, but once you get used to hitting into the ball while adding spin, it turns into a monster.
