Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

You can hit stable, good drives with it. However, since it only produces "honest" (predictable) balls, once you get to a certain level it starts to feel a bit lacking.

I switched from Super Ventus. It was a good rubber, but I felt like Super Ventus generated more spin, so I think I'll switch back (since I use loop drives a lot). I think this one gives more speed though.

This is a comparison with max thickness.
Equipment used:
Blade: Acoustic Carbon
Forehand: regular Hurricane Blue Sponge, max thickness
Backhand: G1 MAX
Weight:
Max thickness: about 49g
MAX: about 56g
Bounce, ball quality, spin, and other things:
MAX definitely has more bounce.
Since the sponge is thicker, the ball sinks in a lot more too.
With MAX it's easier to produce both a flatter trajectory and a more arced one.
Roughly speaking, MAX tends toward a flatter trajectory, while the max-thick version is more arced.
MAX feels softer on contact.
Blocks with MAX come out with more arc.
The max-thick version is a bit flatter.
There's not much difference in spin amount.
Chops with MAX come out a bit higher.
Probably because they come out higher, the spin on those chops is a bit weaker than with the max-thick version.
As for durability, MAX might have a slight edge.
Max-thick works well on the backhand side, MAX on both sides.
I'd recommend an acoustic-type blade for this.

I bought it in max thickness for both sides. It just bounces a ton, and since it keeps its spin performance, control is still solid.
The easiest technique to pull off is countering. When the ball really sinks deep into the sponge, it produces monstrous speed and spin. I'll be sticking with this one until I've saved up more money. Recommended.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Speed: Tenergy > G-1
Spin: Tenergy ≤ G-1
Ease of getting arc: Tenergy ≒ G-1
Push: Tenergy ≒ G-1
Stop (how easy it is to stop the ball): Tenergy ≤ G-1
Short game: Tenergy ≤ G-1
Chop (consistency): Tenergy ≤ G-1
Chop (spin): Tenergy ≒ G-1
Chop (ease of producing a no-spin ball): Tenergy < G-1
That's roughly how it feels.

Flicks stop dead on the table, over and over!
The short game is easy, and topspin drives over the table in particular feel incredibly stable.
Drives turn into monster shots when you hit the sweet spot, but it's tough if you miss it.
If you swing all the way through, you get a good ball.

These are my impressions after using it for about 2-3 weeks.
It had no bounce and spin was hard to generate, so it was really difficult to play with. Whenever the ball hit near the edge of the blade, the topsheet would tear right away and fall apart. The topsheet is extremely fragile and not very usable, so I can't really recommend it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
