Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

I feel like this is overwhelmingly suited for backhand. If you properly sink the ball into the sponge, you get spin, and the faster you swing, the more power you get too. On the flip side, if you hit it half-heartedly the ball drops, so it's a bit tricky to master. If you're confident in your backhand, why not give it a try?

The good things about G1:
First, it's easy to put spin on the ball.
Second, if you hit with strong impact, it tends to produce weird, hard-to-read bounces that opponents struggle with.
The bad things about G1:
First, unless you focus on impact, you get flat, spinless balls.

Using medium thickness.
〇Forehand
Good grip on the ball, goes in consistently.
Still carries through even from mid-distance.
Spin on serves: average〇Backhand
Good grip on the ball, goes in consistently.
Easy to block.
The ball dwell time is long in a bad way, and response feels slow.

I used thick thickness on the backhand of my Innerforce Layer ALC. Weight was 45g.
You can at least get the ball in reliably, so it has good consistency.
The topsheet grips the ball well, so chiquita is easy to do.
However, it drops when receiving a loop drive.
Compared to Rozena, a similar type of rubber, this felt considerably harder.
It's a good option when you want more hardness than Rozena.
At list price it's more than 1,000 yen more expensive than Rozena, but considering its lifespan, I think it's worth it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Its biggest appeal is that top players currently use it and keep racking up results and success with it. I felt it genuinely has that level of performance. On forehand, I was very satisfied with both the power and control. Backhand felt very stable too. Smashes depend a lot on your swing speed, so they really test your skill. Drives leave a slight slipping sensation if you brush the ball, but they still go in okay. If you sink the ball into the sponge, you get solid speed and spin. Chiquita was great because it's easy to add variation to. Blocks are also easy, and they have a way of settling nicely on the table - it was a really good rubber overall. If it has to be a Nittaku rubber, I think this is the one. Its strength is being able to achieve both attacking and defensive techniques at a high level. The rubber itself doesn't bounce that much, so for men, a blade with more spring in it is probably better paired with it. That said, it's easy to use with any blade. Even with a bouncy blade, blocking was still easy. In the end, this is a rubber that's easy to use and lets players from beginner to pro level bring out its performance, but to really unlock its full potential, it's probably best used by more advanced players.

If you're not sure which rubber to get, just go with Fastarc.

I was using Rakza 7 in MAX, but Fastarc G1 MAX has more consistency, speed, and spin.
It's easy to use, and price-wise Fastarc seems like the better choice too.
