Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

It feels a bit like Yasaka's Rakza X.
The short game is really easy to play, above all.

Recommended for the backhand.
If you're not great on the backhand, you should definitely put this there❗
It's easiest to use on the backhand,
but it's easy to use on the forehand too.
In topspin rallies, even without putting in much power, it catches the opponent's ball solidly and lets you hit back without losing to their power.

So far I've used every rubber in the Fastarc series except the P1.
This review is mainly about using it on the backhand, with a bit of forehand use too.
I didn't find any technique in the short game that felt particularly hard to do.
Drives on both forehand and backhand have a somewhat flat trajectory similar to G1, giving a more consistent shot.
However, I felt it's more affected by the opponent's spin than G1 is. When I tried to block the opponent's drive straightforwardly, it sometimes went long.
I felt I needed to return the ball with a bit of a counter motion, or add even more spin of my own on top of theirs.
Overall, I think it's a high-performance rubber that's also easy to use.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used this on my backhand. Both the sheet and sponge are a bit on the hard side, so it was a little hard to use at first, but once I got used to it, it became very easy to use.

Bad points
- Hard to put spin on

Kaolin Between S-1 and G-1

As I mentioned in the title, comparing it within the same Fastarc series, I felt its performance sits somewhere between Fastarc S-1 and G-1. It's a hybrid rubber that inherits the good points of both - the easy-to-smash S-1 and the devastating drive power of G-1!

There's no particular technique that's hard to do
it's a rubber that scores like an 80 out of 100 across the board
it's on the soft side and has no weak points

This is a more all-around rubber than G-1. Personally, I love how G-1 feels super stable and grips the ball for spin almost automatically, but this rubber holds its own just as well. It handles every technique at a high level. For drives, it grips the ball for spin so the shot arcs and lands consistently, yet still has amazing power! Blocking is stable if you push a little into it, and even just touching the ball works fine since the angle isn't too sensitive. Chopping performance is high too, so I'd recommend it to just about everyone!
