Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a stability-focused rubber suitable for beginners to intermediate players. Backhand usage is particularly recommended, offering excellent ball control and spin despite its soft sponge. Some advanced players note a lack of speed and power for competitive play.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent stability and ease of use on backhand
    • Easy to apply spin with good short-range technique
    • Soft sponge ideal for beginners but lower maximum performance
    • Long durability and good rubber longevity
    • Pairing with Fastarc G1 on forehand is recommended
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveDespite being a lightweight German rubber, it has sufficient bounce. The soft sponge provides excellent grip for precise shot placement, making it an all-around excellent rubber.
▽ CriticalSlightly slow with moderate spin. Lacks the power desired by advanced players seeking maximum speed.

I switched from Tenergy 64 because I wanted more stability on my backhand. On the forehand, I felt my drives lacked power, but on the backhand the balance between power and control is amazing. Blocks and counters go in smoothly too.

I'm a rare Chinese-penhold chopper. I have it on my forehand. Both the sheet and the sponge are soft, so chops and drives both go in easily, of course. Serves are easy to put heavy backspin on too.

carbon (Experience: 2〜3 years) Recommended for the backhand side

      Reviews by user

It's easier to handle than the G-1, yet still has decent power. Drives go in very easily!
That said, if you're reasonably good at table tennis, you'll probably feel it lacks power on the forehand.
It's nice and stable on the backhand.
Serves get a decent amount of spin too.
      Highly recommended!!!

Penguin (Experience: 4〜5 years) Easy to use!

      Reviews by user

It's really easy to use. Above all, the grip on the ball is excellent. Personally I think it's even better than a certain Tenergy. Every technique was easy to perform. When hitting drives, the ball sinks in nicely and spin is easy to generate.

I use this on my backhand. As expected from the Fastarc series!! Drives are really easy to hit! It goes in easily whether against topspin or backspin. And the speed off the rubber is great too — that really surprised me!! Overall it's a well-balanced rubber, so lots of techniques are easy to pull off! It might sound a bit much, but I honestly think this might be the easiest rubber to use out there!!
If I had to name a personal weak point though, it's that it seems to get affected quite a bit by incoming spin when receiving. Well, that's probably more a matter of my own skill lol
But the price is reasonable too, so I think it's worth trying — why not give it a shot?

    • Why

Why (Experience: 11〜20 years) Arc is a bit low

      Reviews by user

Blocking and receiving are great with this. It doesn't get out of control on the short game either. Maybe because it doesn't fly that far, the arc on my drives is low. It generates plenty of spin. I get more net-in shots than overshoots. I'd recommend it to anyone who finds Tenergy too bouncy.

I have it on my backhand. It flies farther than Fastarc G-1. That said, on the forehand, G1 is easier to use.
