TENERGY 64 is the fastest attacking rubber of the TENERGY family; the No. 64 being the development code of the pimples used in producing this reversed rubber.
BUTTERFLY High Tension technology has enabled a fast dynamic rubber to be produced by utilizing the innovative SPRING SPONGE. SPRING SPONGE enables a player to "grip" the ball and "catapult" the return back at high speed and with heavy spin.

This is one of my favorite rubbers.
The amount of spin on serves and drives isn't quite at the level of the 05, but it still reaches a pretty high standard.
To fully bring out the 05's performance you need to be a pretty skilled player, but with the 64, even someone with a weaker impact can use it well as long as they have the basics down.
The combination of speed and spin unique to this rubber is something I'd really recommend everyone try at least once.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This rubber is so one-of-a-kind that nothing else can replace it.
It's soft, easy to control, and not very affected by the opponent's spin, so blocking and receiving are easy. It also lets you do tricky stop-receives that keep the opponent's serve spin intact, and lobbing is easy too.
Playing away from the table is easy as well, and the balance between offense and defense is fantastic.
The spin is weaker than the latest high-end rubbers, but it's still plenty and covers the bare minimum you need.
Maybe because most people around me use spin-oriented rubbers, but I'm often told that Tenergy 64's straight, driving topspin is hard to handle.I want to keep using this rubber until it gets discontinued.

Test-hit on the backhand of a Timo Boll ZLC.
On anything other than an outer-fiber blade it grabbed the ball too much and was too hard to overwrite the spin on, so I gave up on that combo.
Its biggest strength is that it's insensitive to the opponent's spin, and thanks to the soft topsheet, most balls go in with the same swing - it's not flashy in any single shot, but it's the type of rubber that shines in actual matches.
That said, the low launch-angle topsheet doesn't mesh well with a sponge that's built for a sharp-angle swing, and the ball tends to end up light, which is a downside - if you're someone who closes the racket angle on the backhand, I think Tenergy 80 or 05 would suit you better.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is the pinnacle of speed-oriented Tenergy rubbers.
You can throw your opponent off with tremendously fast shots and a unique trajectory.
It's no surprise it supported so many pro players for a good while.
Even penhold shorts and pushes have that snappy, exhilarating feel alongside a real sense of security, and it just makes hitting the ball fun!

Simply put, this is the tricky-ball Tenergy!
The trajectory is low, so you can hit shots that leave your opponent struggling to return.
It also adds speed to smashes.
So I think it suits attacking penhold players, or players who center their game on meet-hitting rather than topspin drives.
Tenergy really is deep.

The feel was great when I first started using it. Both spin and speed were good. Speed especially stood out. But as I kept using it, both netting and overshooting started to become scary. I feel like the lifespan is a bit short. As a beginner, it was too advanced a rubber for me to be using.

I used the 2.1mm thickness. Weight was 66g before cutting, about 44g after cutting.
This is considered the entry point into the Tenergy series, which is still hailed as one of the greatest rubber lines of all time.
Compared to 05 or 80, the topsheet is noticeably softer, so it feels easier to handle than the hardness number would suggest, but you do need to watch out for how fast the ball comes off the rubber.The trajectory is straight with a fairly low arc. It can generate spin, but because the ball comes off so quickly, topspin drives are harder to control than you'd expect.
On the other hand, for meet-hitting it can produce outstandingly sharp shots without much effort.
Rather than the forehand, putting it on the backhand for stable blocking and meet-hitting is probably the safer choice.The price is fairly high, but it's a good rubber that combines performance with light weight.
If you're moving up from Rozena I'd recommend 80, but it's worth giving this one a try as well.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
