TENERGY 64 is the fastest attacking rubber of the TENERGY family; the No. 64 being the development code of the pimples used in producing this reversed rubber.
BUTTERFLY High Tension technology has enabled a fast dynamic rubber to be produced by utilizing the innovative SPRING SPONGE. SPRING SPONGE enables a player to "grip" the ball and "catapult" the return back at high speed and with heavy spin.

Personally, if you're the type who plays close to the table, this rubber is soft so it tends to fly too much and you get overshooting mistakes, but if you play further back it's great because it really flies. Also the speed is amazing, so I'd recommend it for meet-hitters and people without much power too, lol!

It bounces really well, plain and simple. I'm sure the ball speed is right up there with the top rubbers out there, but because of that, control suffers, and receiving and blocking felt really difficult. That said, if you can master it, it becomes a huge threat to your opponent.

Tenergy 64 is much softer and bouncier than the 05 or 80. That said, the ball flies with a lower trajectory rather than rising up high. Because the rubber is soft, it's easy to handle on both forehand and backhand, and the speed and control are amazing. The spin performance is lower than the 05 or 80, but it's still far easier to spin than an ordinary rubber, and in a match you can rely on the spin at a solid level. Thanks to the bounce, you can also attack from away from the table. I'd recommend the 64 to players who play from mid-distance to away from the table.

Personally, I've always liked the 64 better than the hugely popular 05.
It depends on your playing style, so I can't say for sure across the board, but what I love most is how the ball launches off the 64.
Whether you call it bounce or rebound, I choose blades and rubbers based on whether they give an exhilarating, stress-free feel when hitting, and after trying all sorts of rubbers, I'm convinced the 64 is the best match for my playing style, my swing, my style of play, and the blade I use.
At the end of the day, equipment really just comes down to personal feel, so whatever you can call the best for yourself is the best choice.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

In the end, I came back to this rubber.
I've used dozens of different rubbers, all kinds (lol).
But for me, the 64 is the best. It gets called a speed rubber, but it gets plenty of spin.
I play a bit back from mid-distance, so a rubber that flies and bounces like the 64 probably suits me. If you play close to the table, unless you have serious skill, it's definitely going to bounce too much. If you really want to use it that way, I'd go with medium or thick.
I don't really compare it to the 05 or 80 — it's just a matter of personal preference. You often see comments saying the 05 has more spin or whatever, but basically all the Tenergy rubbers get spin and bounce well. The feel when hitting comes down to the blade you use it with, and as for the rubbers themselves, the 05, 64, and 80 are all high performance — you can't go wrong with any of them.

A junior teammate had this on their racket, so I got to try hitting with it. Even with a light swing, you get a decently good ball. I never got a bad ball out of it. When I really sank the ball into the rubber and hit properly, it turned into a heavy ball with strong spin. The control was easier than I expected too — it's a rubber I'd recommend even to people who think the 05 is still a bit too much for them.

Fewer people use this rubber since the switch to plastic balls. I tried a bunch of products marketed as "made for plastic balls," but none of them worked out ✕. When I went back to using this after a while, I found the 64 is just right for me now that my swing speed has dropped. Even without much power, the feeling of really getting the most out of the rubber is fantastic — the ball's extension and sharpness are outstanding. On serve receive, it's also hard for the opponent's spin to throw you off. I also tried Rozena, but it lacked speed and spin. If you can still swing hard, I think the 05 or 80 are better, but I also think it's good to get the most out of a soft rubber like the 64.
