TENERGY 64 is the fastest attacking rubber of the TENERGY family; the No. 64 being the development code of the pimples used in producing this reversed rubber.

BUTTERFLY High Tension technology has enabled a fast dynamic rubber to be produced by utilizing the innovative SPRING SPONGE. SPRING SPONGE enables a player to "grip" the ball and "catapult" the return back at high speed and with heavy spin.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Tenergy 64 is highly praised for its exceptional speed performance, soft sheet, and straight trajectory. It excels in hitting techniques, blocking, and close-range play, earning top-tier ratings from many users. However, its high price and short durability are notable drawbacks, and it is considered difficult for beginners to master.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Top-class speed with direct, low-arc trajectory
    • Soft sheet is easy to handle with excellent control
    • Stable for hitting and blocking techniques
    • High price with relatively short lifespan
    • Spin performance is sufficient but inferior to Tenergy 05/80
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe pinnacle of speed-type Tenergy. With its soft texture and easy control, it resists opponent's spin, making blocking and receiving smooth. Outstanding balance between offense and defense with truly excellent performance.
▽ CriticalDespite excellent speed, the high bounce makes it difficult to control, particularly for receiving and blocking which feel very challenging. Requires skilled technique to master effectively.

Although it is good at back, the fore has become stronger. (Experience: 2〜3 years) A rubber that balances stability with a finishing punch

      Reviews by user

I switched over from Fastarc C1. Compared to the C1, it's less affected by the opponent's spin, and blocks, counters, and topspin drives are all easier to do. Also, opponents often mess up their return just from my block, and unlike the C1 — where drives tend to fly upward — this one flies straight forward, but since the drive gets so much spin, I don't get a lot of over-the-table misses.
I'd recommend the max thickness. It really grips the ball.

      Black Storm Top-tier level

      Reviews by user

      Top-tier performance in every category.
Speed is what really stands out — up to an intermediate level, if you place the ball well, opponents just can't react in time.
It lifts backspin balls with no trouble, and the spin performance is more than enough.
It's a fantastic rubber that combines both speed and spin.
The sheet has a bit of a grabby feel to it, so there's no technique it struggles with.
Still one of the top-tier rubbers out there.

Devil (Experience: 6〜10 years) Recommended for Tenergy beginners

      Reviews by user

Of all the Tenergy rubbers, this is the one I found easiest to use.
It was originally marketed as a speed-focused rubber, but it also gets excellent spin.
The sponge hardness is the same as the 05, but the sheet is softer than the 05's.
I personally love a rubber with a hard sponge and a soft sheet, so this really won me over!
There's no technique it struggles with — whether you spin the ball or just knock it flat, it handles everything well.
That said, I feel like fewer people use it now that we're in the plastic ball era, probably because of the drop in spin.
Even so, how easy it is to use hasn't changed at all!
I'd recommend this rubber to people trying Tenergy for the first time, and to women players too!

Raspai (Experience: 4〜5 years) Really good rubber

      Reviews by user

Personally I found the 05 hard to master, but
the 64 gives you great speed even on light hits, flying with a low trajectory and a decent amount of spin,
so I think even intermediate-level players can use it.

Iku @ back table (Experience: 6〜10 years) Glad I took the plunge and bought it

      Reviews by user

I'd been struggling to find the right forehand rubber for a long time, so I finally took the plunge and bought this.
Up until now I'd tried Rozena, 01 Stiff, Rakza 7, and others, but they all left me feeling something was missing. With the 64, that feeling was resolved.

The speed lives up to the hype, no complaints there. People say it's hard to get spin on, but that's only true relative to other Tenergy rubbers — it's on par with, or better than, the three rubbers I mentioned above.

People tend to focus on how good it is for attacking, but the blocking felt really good too. If you catch the ball at just the right point, you get counter-like fast blocks. Also, in the short game it doesn't bounce as much as I expected, which makes it easy to handle.

One thing to watch out for is that because of the strong bounce, you'll hit a lot of balls long at first. Once you find the right angle and swing size, though, it shouldn't be a problem — it just takes some patience to get there.

Racket Mania (Experience: 11〜20 years) In this series, 64 is my clear favorite

      Reviews by user

The 05 and 80 are the most popular in the Tenergy line. Personally, I'm firmly a 64 person. I've used both the 05 and 80, and sure, they're all amazing. But it comes down to preference, and for me it was the 64. It's just the best match for me personally. If you're going to talk about Tenergy, it's a good idea to try a bunch of them and see which one fits you best.

Alexandra (Experience: 6〜10 years) A perfect rubber

      Reviews by user

This is one of my favorite rubbers.
I use it on the forehand.

      - Topspin drive (gets spin even on light hits)
      - Smash (very easy to do)
      - Serve (gets plenty of spin)
      - Block (very easy to do)
      - Counter (very easy to do)
      - Receive (easy since it's less affected by the opponent's spin)

Some people say it causes energy loss or whatever, but at an intermediate level that absolutely does not happen.
If anything, using this instead of the 05 makes you far less likely to drop matches against opponents who are below or around your level.
