TENERGY 64 is the fastest attacking rubber of the TENERGY family; the No. 64 being the development code of the pimples used in producing this reversed rubber.
BUTTERFLY High Tension technology has enabled a fast dynamic rubber to be produced by utilizing the innovative SPRING SPONGE. SPRING SPONGE enables a player to "grip" the ball and "catapult" the return back at high speed and with heavy spin.

I use it on the backhand.
The ball sinks in amazingly. When you hit a chiquita or backhand drive, it grabs the ball and launches it. It's marketed as speed-focused, but the topsheet also has good grip, so it puts proper spin on the ball too.
That said, since the pips are thin, you can sometimes get pushed back by the opponent's drive. As for compatible blades, I think pretty much anything works if you're using it on the backhand, but if you use it on the forehand, I think it pairs well with blades that have special outer materials, or all-wood blades with a hard top ply.

I paired it with ZLC and Super ZLC blades. Besides its main feature, speed, its control — thanks to the soft topsheet — was better than other rubbers. As for spin, it's harder to put spin on than the 05, but once you do get a good hit on it, the amount of spin actually exceeds the 05. Compared to the similarly soft-topsheet German-made Vega Asia, I feel the Japanese-made softness, and the feeling of the ball being grabbed and launched thanks to the spring sponge, is unmatched by other rubbers.

This rubber has outrageous speed performance. The spin, if you really brush it, is also pretty impressive. And blocking is stable too. Up to this point it was all as expected, but what surprised me was that the feel is a bit hard, and if you hit with weak force, the ball tends to leave the rubber quickly, which — while that might not matter to power hitters — can result in flat, spinless shots.

Having it on my backhand and hitting with it, I found it's easy to control when playing close to the table. If you put it on your forehand, I think it suits choppers and power hitters.

I have it on my forehand. The speed is the best in the Tenergy lineup. It's also really easy to get spin on. The sponge is soft, so you can sink the ball in and hit drives. The power is high too.

I've been using this for about 5 years straight now. On the backhand, it's easy to hit and lets you keep a nice rhythm. In particular, the speed is way above the other Tenergy rubbers.

I put Tenergy 64 with Karp P-1 on a Butterfly Joo Se-hyuk blade, using it set up like Joo Se-hyuk's own equipment. It's very easy to put spin on, and even though it's easy to spin, the spin amount is still high, so chops come out stable and low with plenty of cut, and drives — from speed drives all the way to loops — had no complaints in power or stability. I didn't just hold my own in topspin rallies, I could even push my opponent back! It's a rubber that performs really well on the forehand for beginner-to-intermediate players, and on the backhand for intermediate-and-up players!
