    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Tenergy 64 is highly praised for its exceptional speed performance, soft sheet, and straight trajectory. It excels in hitting techniques, blocking, and close-range play, earning top-tier ratings from many users. However, its high price and short durability are notable drawbacks, and it is considered difficult for beginners to master.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Top-class speed with direct, low-arc trajectory
    • Soft sheet is easy to handle with excellent control
    • Stable for hitting and blocking techniques
    • High price with relatively short lifespan
    • Spin performance is sufficient but inferior to Tenergy 05/80
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe pinnacle of speed-type Tenergy. With its soft texture and easy control, it resists opponent's spin, making blocking and receiving smooth. Outstanding balance between offense and defense with truly excellent performance.
▽ CriticalDespite excellent speed, the high bounce makes it difficult to control, particularly for receiving and blocking which feel very challenging. Requires skilled technique to master effectively.

Guardian lion-dog at Shinto shrine (Experience: 2〜3 years) Overall very high level

      Reviews by user

I bought this because I heard Kasumi Ishikawa and Koki Niwa also use it. I had it on the backhand paired with Fastarc G-1, but the control was a bit tricky, so now I use it on the forehand. Among the Tenergy lineup, the 64 is the speed-oriented type, so it does bring the speed. The spin isn't quite on the level of the 05, but there's still quite a lot. That said, I felt the grip on the ball was a little lacking. If your forehand and backhand are about equally strong, it might not matter, but I think the chiquita is a bit tricky with this (though for someone like Koki Niwa, who's great at the chiquita, that probably doesn't matter). It's easy to flick against a no-spin serve, or to hit a forehand drive against a long backspin serve. Pushes fly a little, but you get used to it. Personally, I think for an intermediate player, using Tenergy 64 on the forehand and Fastarc G-1 on the backhand would be a good combination.

      Attack 49 (Experience: 6〜10 years)

      Reviews by user

I use it on both forehand and backhand, but on the forehand it feels short on spin, so if you're a drive-dominant player, I think a spin-focused rubber like the 05 would be better for the forehand. If you attack with speed, this one is better.

Drives with the 64 have a lot of speed. The spin is less than the 05, but it's surprisingly there. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to prioritize speed.

      Small darkness (Experience: 6〜10 years)

      Reviews by user

When you put this on a blade with a lively feel, it really flies. It's also one of the Tenergy rubbers least affected by the opponent's incoming spin. Personally, I think it's better on the backhand.

It gets spin and it gets speed! It's a really easy rubber to use.
You can use it on the forehand or the backhand, and it's easy to control.
Drives got a lot more stable when I hit with a thicker contact.
Serves and pushes bite well too, it's amazing...
      I think it's an all-around rubber.

Manabuto (Experience: 11〜20 years) Easy to use overall, especially for blocking

      Reviews by user

An overall high-spec rubber that's easy to use for pretty much anything.
What I especially like is how easy it is to block with. It's not very affected by incoming spin, and the ball still comes out fast.
Also, it's one of the best rubbers for the backhand or reverse-side drives. I've tried around 20 different rubbers, but I haven't found a better one for the reverse side (maybe the 80 comes close).
When counterattacking with a single backhand drive from far back, it's top-notch in both speed and stability.
I can see why a player like Kaii Yoshida, who plays back from the table, would use this.
The only downside is the price (lol)

I have it on the forehand side. I was impressed by both the control and the quality of the attack. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth that price.
