It really does bounce well, and it's easy to control. I used it on the backhand, and as long as you swing through properly, it's more than usable.

I used this on the forehand when I bought my second blade.
I'd been using the "medium" thickness of the original Hurricane 3, but since I heard it was getting discontinued, instead of the NEO3 or PRO3 I went with the Turbo Orange, which also comes in "medium."
It bounces more than the original Hurricane, but only about as much as a normal high-elasticity rubber.
Even so, the biting sharpness is pure Hurricane through and through.
Pushes bite hard whether you cut them low or sideways. Drives over the table fly a little, so it feels more like hooking the ball than hitting it, but it goes in cleanly.
Step back a bit and the drive gets that classic Hurricane dip and sink — really nasty stuff.
Personally, since it bounces more than the original, I can lift drives without a full swing, and I'm quite pleased with it.
Loops and curves are also easier than with the original.
The initial speed isn't that fast, but apparently it drops a lot after the bounce, which makes it pretty hard to handle.
I was thinking about trying various rubbers while exploring my equipment, but I think I'll just stick with this for my forehand now.I don't know about the thick or max-thick versions, but I think it'll suit anyone who likes tacky rubber, so give it a try if that's you.

From my test hit, it felt similar to the G-1.
Even when my form broke down, sharp drives still went in and it felt great!
It's not heavy either, and it's really easy to use.

I hadn't used it in a while, and the tackiness had come back thanks to the protective film! First impression: it doesn't fly at all... Since this is my first tacky rubber I can't really compare it to anything, but with a swing meant for tension rubber I kept smashing straight into the net, ball after ball after ball, lol.
If you don't consciously go for pushes, the tackiness makes it so it doesn't fly at all, and it just goes "plop" into the rubber without bouncing (make of that what you will). I hear it pairs well with acoustic-type blades, but those are expensive. I'm using it with the blade I started table tennis with, and I think the match is good.
I previously tried it with a soft 7-ply all-wood blade and that didn't work at all.
People tend to assume hard rubber with a hard blade is for advanced players, but since this rubber doesn't fly much on its own, it might be better to go with something slightly softer instead of an unreasonably hard blade. The Fly Att was also somewhat on the hard side, so maybe I just got lucky with a good match.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

It's supposed to be fast, but it's not as fast as I expected.
About the same as the NEO3. If you're expecting something like a tension rubber, you'll be disappointed.
That said, the topsheet bites well so the spin doesn't drop off.
Also, it's easy to generate a lot of spin.
But honestly, at this point I might as well just keep replacing the cheaper NEO3 more often...All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

A rubber that combines the Hurricane Pro3 topsheet with a Japanese-made sponge.
For ease of use I went with the red max thickness on the forehand. The topsheet is clear and doesn't look tacky at all. The tackiness itself is just a light stickiness to the touch. The sponge is hard, and it makes a loud "clack" sound on forehand hits.Compared to the previous Hurricane series, I'd say the biggest feature is how much higher the blocking and counter performance is. The smash is good too.
Because of that, you can hit connecting drives with a tension-rubber-like feel. Personally that's what I rate highest about it. On the other hand, the quirkiness seems reduced — I barely saw any wobbly balls or unintended knuckle drives.
The trajectory on hard-hit shots is classic Hurricane — the dip and the sink after the bounce are excellent.
The spin is, of course, Hurricane-level. The short game and fine touches are Hurricane too.Using it, what it reminds me of most is the Xianglong. It honestly feels like a simple upgrade over Xianglong, but the hardness is different, so I think you could pick between them depending on your blade.
For people who've used Hurricane before, it might feel like it's lost some of its character.
I'd recommend it for tension rubber users, or for Xianglong users who want to add more spin.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard
