    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly praised as an entry-level rubber for beginners and intermediate players, offering excellent control and spin at a low price point. The back-face application receives notably higher evaluations than front-face usage.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Superior control and stability make it ideal for novice players
    • Excellent spin generation suitable for serves and loop drives
    • Lightweight and easy to handle, perfect for tension rubber introduction
    • Speed output is insufficient; pairing with hard rackets recommended
    • Back-face application is more recommended than front-face
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAfter switching from Mark V, spin generation became easier and drive shots stabilized significantly. The soft impact makes it excellent for beginners.
▽ CriticalSpeed performance is clearly inadequate, and the ball won't fly properly unless paired with a bouncy racket. Not recommended for front-face applications.

Hibachi. (Experience: 2〜3 years) Control is good

      Reviews by user

I bought this to get stable shots on my backhand.
Compared to Rigan Spin, the spin is a bit less.
I think the control is outstanding.
If you put it on a blade that doesn't bounce much, it seriously won't go anywhere, so I'd recommend pairing it with a bouncier blade.

Rigan doesn't bounce all that much, so it's recommended for beginners and intermediate players. It also gets a moderate amount of spin and is pretty cheap, so I think it's good.

gret (Experience: 6〜10 years) Good rubber

      Reviews by user

I used this on the backhand side of a Chinese penhold blade. The speed might be a little lacking, but the control lets you hit exactly where you're aiming, and pushes are stable too. Topspin drives land reliably as well, so I think even intermediate players can use it on the backhand.

Dandy takeshi (Experience: 2〜3 years) How nice

Control, spin, and value for money are all good. However, the speed is lacking, so I'd recommend pairing it with a stiffer blade that generates speed.

PingPongMan (Experience: 6〜10 years) Just right for the back.

      Reviews by user

I was using Rakza X Soft, but tried Rigan for cost reasons. It's really good. The spin is naturally a bit less than Rakza X Soft, but you still get plenty of spin. The speed is satisfying too. Consistency improved, so I could swing freely on the backhand as well, and it helped my backhand technique improve. I think this will be one of the rubbers I keep relying on going forward.

I LOVE STIGA (Experience: 4〜5 years) light!

      Reviews by user

It's a really light rubber, so you can use it to balance out the weight on a heavier blade.
To be honest, the bounce is pretty mild.
If you don't pair it with a bouncy blade, the ball really won't go anywhere...(lol)
The control is excellent though, so it's perfect for beginners.

The softish sponge really grips the ball, so you can hit with confidence. It feels a bit lacking on the forehand, so I'd recommend it for players looking for consistency on the backhand.
