    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly praised as an entry-level rubber for beginners and intermediate players, offering excellent control and spin at a low price point. The back-face application receives notably higher evaluations than front-face usage.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Superior control and stability make it ideal for novice players
    • Excellent spin generation suitable for serves and loop drives
    • Lightweight and easy to handle, perfect for tension rubber introduction
    • Speed output is insufficient; pairing with hard rackets recommended
    • Back-face application is more recommended than front-face
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAfter switching from Mark V, spin generation became easier and drive shots stabilized significantly. The soft impact makes it excellent for beginners.
▽ CriticalSpeed performance is clearly inadequate, and the ball won't fly properly unless paired with a bouncy racket. Not recommended for front-face applications.

Switching over from a modern high-elasticity rubber like Ventus Basic, the first thing I noticed was "it lifts!" The ball just goes up, and the spin comes on steadily too. I think the reason it gets such high praise is that you can feel this quality — clearly a cut above your typical beginner rubber — at such an affordable price. Since it lifts the ball up so consistently, it makes sense that it's recommended for the reverse side of a penhold blade, where shots tend to drop.
I think it's a really good rubber for anyone who wants to stabilize their play in matches. That said, maybe because both the sponge and the sheet are soft, when I rallied on the forehand with a skilled player, even someone as unskilled as me could feel the energy loss. If you're at the level of trading hard shots at the top, you'll probably need something a step above this. Still, as a stepping stone until you get there, I think the performance is more than enough.

      Reviews by user

I'll say this up front — don't expect much from your serves. But the ball sinks into the rubber just enough on the third-ball chiquita or backhand drive that it's easy to put on spin, so even someone who's not good at the short game will land it if they just swing. That said, while you do get a fair amount of spin, no matter how hard you try to add more, it barely changes. Speed is fine for flat hits, but drive speed also barely changes. It's a rubber that's hard to vary the pace with.
I'd definitely recommend it for beginners.

      Really good rubber!
You can't expect much from a fast, one-shot kill drive,
but things like loop drives go in really reliably!
It suits people who want to win points through rallies!

Rye Gundam (Experience: 6〜10 years) No stress

      Reviews by user

I get why it's rated so highly. It's a rubber with value you wouldn't expect from the low price. People call it a beginner rubber or a second rubber, but that's just not true at all — the performance is on par with something like Rozena. Actually, I find it easier to use than Rozena, the sound of the ball is satisfying, and the ball lifts nicely too. Using it, I never felt stressed with any kind of shot. You'll get it once you try it, but it feels like Rigan sits above Rozena and below Tenergy 64. The ball travels further than I expected.

MK It is easy to hit!

      Reviews by user

You can hit without worrying much about the opponent's spin. Serves and drives felt about what you'd expect for the price, but control on hard shots is really easy to manage. It's a bit soft, so it might feel lacking on the forehand, but I'd love for anyone who prioritizes control to try it.

This is a great-value rubber for the backhand. It's got speed and it grips for spin, so it's a really good rubber.
This is what you should use for your second rubber!!

I've got Rigan on my backhand — it has solid stability and was really easy to use. It's a rubber I'd recommend for beginners, so please give it a try.
