Used on the backhand for attacking (1.8mm).
I bought it because it was written up as a "hidden gem" in Table Tennis Kingdom.
It's described as slightly tacky, but there's almost no tacky feel to it — the sponge is said to be on the firmer side, but it's not that hard, and my impression was of a rubber with a lot of bounce. For backhand use it's almost a bit too bouncy. Performance-wise I thought it was a good rubber.
It gives you speed and spin, but I think it's really more of a forehand rubber. Blocks tended to fly too long and overshoot a bit. I feel the swing style for spin-tension rubbers suits it better than the swing style for tacky rubbers.
In terms of flight, speed, and spin it feels very high-performance, but if the bounce were held back a little more it would be more of an option for me on the backhand.
Compared to my current bouncy 7-ply blade, I think this would pair better with a 5-ply blade with less bounce, or a thinner carbon blade. Countering an opponent's attacking shots was easy, and I could feel the strength of the sheet.
The price is cheaper than the V-15, but I feel this rubber is plenty good enough for intermediate players too.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used this on my forehand because I wanted more power on my shots. The first time I hit a drive with it, I was surprised by how much the sheet grips the ball and how soft it feels. The sponge is quite firm, but thanks to the softness of the sheet, it didn't really feel like a hard rubber overall. It's a rubber that gives you power when rallying away from the table, but I didn't find it especially hard to use for serving or the short game either. I really liked it and used it for a while, but I recently stopped. The reason is that during serve-and-attack rallies, whenever my opponent's return came back a bit half-hearted and high, I kept missing into the net. My guess is that because the sponge is hard, it rebounds too quickly when you smash a floating ball. I feel like someone with a faster swing and more power in their hitting could really finish off those chance balls. I felt like I couldn't fully make the most of this rubber with my own ability, so I stopped using it. That said, this rubber has a lot of potential, so if you find the Vega lacking, or if you want something cheaper than Tenergy but still good, I think it's worth trying at least once. It's a bit heavy, but it's a good rubber.

I use the thick version of this rubber on my forehand, prioritizing how easy it makes loop drives to hit.
There was a period when I used a bouncy tension-type tacky rubber, but I've switched to this one because it grips more spin. My body can't keep up with fast-tempo rallies, so I try to use equipment that lets me slow the rally down — spin still comes through, but the ball flies slowly enough to give me time to recover. To make up for the lack of speed that comes with tacky rubber, I pair it with a reactive 7-ply blade. When I smash or hit hard, I put my whole body into the shot to get the speed to punch through my opponent's defense. What I really like is the trajectory of the topspin drive — it draws a really beautiful arc. If contact is weak, the ball turns flat and gets blocked easily, but the appeal is that it can produce all kinds of ball qualities: sinking down when it lands on the table with a slow flight, or being fast and extending far. If you can control this deliberately, it becomes a proper weapon. I've also used the easier-to-handle Hurricane Pro 3, but I stick with this rubber because it can produce a ball with more character. It's a quirky rubber that won't suit everyone, but I feel like if you can master it, you can play some really fun table tennis.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

About 15 years ago now, back in my school days, I used a Chinese rubber called PF4 on my forehand, but once speed glue got banned I switched to a spin-oriented tension rubber that gave good spin and speed. Finally, though, I've found a non-glue tacky rubber that actually delivers speed. What appeals to me most is that distinctive Chinese-rubber spin. Rather than sinking the ball in, brushing it thin generates spin. Everyone's technique is different, so it's important to choose a rubber that matches your own swing, but since my style is a drive with a thin contact, I felt this rubber suited me well thanks to its stable, long topspin rallies. That said, one drawback of Chinese rubbers is that a light swing produces a flat, dead ball that's easy for the opponent to punish. However, depending on how you make contact, you get distinctive movement after the bounce — sinking down or extending — so even though it's not fast, it feels like a rubber that can throw off your opponent's timing. Rubbers with strong spin and strong speed are appealing too, but a powerful ball doesn't always translate into points. If you can bring out this rubber's natural, unpredictable movement, I think it's more than capable in actual matches.

I used to use a 7-ply blade because I wanted power on my shots, but I noticed I was overshooting a lot when I went for full-swing drives in matches, so I picked this blade with its toned-down bounce instead.
My shots are simply stable now, and the ball goes in no matter what stroke I use.
My drive overshoot problem went away, and my return rate went up.
The power feels a bit lacking, but by practicing with the idea that "the power in a shot comes from using your whole body," if you use your body correctly, you can still hit a shot that blows past your opponent.
You can feel the flex of the 5-ply construction, which makes it easy to put spin on the ball, and it also stabilizes the defensive techniques I personally value most — pushes and blocks.
Up until now I'd been aiming for one big winning shot, but since switching to this blade, my table tennis has shifted toward a rally-based mindset.
I take fewer forced risky shots now, and I've been able to play the kind of basic table tennis where you "smash the balls you can put away, and return the connecting balls with an emphasis on stability" — and that's let me beat senior players I could never beat before.
It also pairs well with the spin-oriented tension rubber I use, and the balance between power and stability is good.
It's a world champion's blade, but I think it's a good blade that emphasizes stability while still delivering power.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard
