I think it's an easy blade to use.
Techniques that are easy to pull off:
- Loop drives, stops, pushes, blocking in general
Techniques that are harder:
- Hard flicks, topspin rallies, a flat/flicked backhand, countering fast ballsOverall, techniques where you smack the ball hard and drive it through are harder to pull off. The blade grips the ball too much, so it puts on more spin than you want and you lose speed.
I find it easy to counter the opponent's loop drives, but when countering a fast drive, if you don't adjust your impact you can feel like you're losing the power battle against the opponent's shot.I think this is a great match for a playing style built around adding spin and driving the ball through solidly.

Wanta (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Tried many things, but it didn't suit me

I bought this five years ago because it got rave reviews for beginner-to-intermediate players, but it didn't suit me.
The flared grip was a bit angular and a little too thick for me. I switch my grip for serves, pushes, drives, backhand, and smashes, and it kept catching on the wrinkles of my hand in a way that felt unpleasant, so I sanded the grip down to be rounder and thinner.
I also tried a bunch of different rubbers, but I could never get a feel for it — it doesn't resonate in my hand, and the sound of the ball hitting it is unpleasant.
It's reasonably fast and gets a reasonable amount of spin, and it has some grip on the ball, but the control was mediocre and it just didn't click with me.
For a player with high skill it might be a blade that can do anything, but for a player with lower skill, everything feels half-baked — you can only produce speed and spin that the opponent is expecting, and since the control isn't great either, it's hard to aim for specific courses.
For players who are still developing, it makes it hard to play in a way that leverages your own strengths and to commit fully to your shots, so I especially wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's mentally not that tough.
It might be a good blade for figuring out what you want to do, but personally I wouldn't recommend it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I switched from the Korbel. Compared to the Korbel, this one feels lighter and a bit harder. I think if you adjust with the right rubber, this blade works for anyone from beginners to advanced players.

I switched over from the Zhou Yu 1. It doesn't fly much on light hits, but when you hit a topspin drive it draws a nice arc and lands deep on the table. I also have it on my backhand, and it's not too hard, just the right feel, so I can hit without any stress.
For hitting against backspin, I found both speed drives and loop drives easy to pull off.
Also, the control was great for both serves and receives, whether adding spin or keeping it dead.Overall it has a bit of that tacky-rubber-like quirkiness, but that makes the ball hard for opponents to read, so I think it's a rubber you can actually use in matches.

My first impression was that it has no quirks and lets you play in a stable way, but
being a 7-ply blade, it is heavy, and the ball tends to fly in a flatter, more linear trajectory.
My playing style is hitting topspin drives one after another from mid-distance, so
with the heaviness I couldn't keep up rapid-fire shots, and I couldn't get the spin I wanted.
This might not be much of a reference point, but I'd recommend this blade to players who prioritize stability above all.

The first thing I can say about this blade is that its performance is very well-rounded and consistent.
I think it works for anyone from beginners to intermediate players.
There's really no technique that's hard to pull off with it.
That said, when I stood a bit further back, I personally felt it lacked bounce.

I use a Chinese penhold grip.
After picking the sport back up after more than 20 years away, I started using this because it was cheap.
My impression is that even though it's cheap, it's a surprisingly good blade.
I've tried all sorts of blades, but I keep coming back to this one in the end.
It probably depends on my current skill level too, and honestly I'm not totally sure what makes the Swat so good.
But somehow, I feel like I don't have to worry about little things when I play, like I can really let go and play freely.
I don't put much stock in reviews, but I think this is a good blade that's easy for anyone to use.
