      I'd like this to go to greedy players who want the spin of a 5-ply blade but the bounce of a 7-ply blade. Unlike the SK7, it isn't especially thick, so it has some flex that lets you get spin on the ball. I'd like beginners to try this one first, figure out whether they want more spin or more distance, and then move on to their second blade based on that.

      It's easy to use across a wide variety of techniques, and I think it's a classic that strikes a great balance between spin, speed, and stability.
      I'd recommend it both as a first blade and to anyone who's having trouble deciding which blade to get!

      I've tried a lot of blades, and I really couldn't find a good one. Great feel and control, plenty of speed, extremely well balanced, ideal for spin-oriented play. A fantastic blade.

      The feel on contact is good.
      The rubber's sponge is max thickness, so the bounce is good too.
      I can control it quite well with my own technique, so it's easy to use.
      I'd also recommend it to beginners.

      The kids I coach all use either the Swat or the Dyna 7.

      Advanced players might find the bounce a little lacking, though.

      In a good way, I thought, "Is this really a 7-ply blade?" It was just so easy to use overall. I think even 5-ply users would have no problem with it. Compared to the Fortius, it falls a bit short on power when you go for a full swing, but in terms of how easily it lets you put spin on the ball, the Swat is overwhelmingly better. It also matched really well with short pips. This is just my personal take, but out of all the blades I've used, this one felt the best. If you're not sure which blade to pick, I'd recommend this one.

      I use Chinese-style penhold.

      Last time I had short pips on the forehand; this time I'm using Super Ventus (MAX) on both forehand and backhand.

      It's just as good as ever.
      The weight, which I'd been a bit worried about, wasn't really noticeable, and it felt great.

      This is just my personal opinion, but even after using high-spec blades, I always end up coming back to this one.


      The price is reasonable too (apparently VICTAS originally wanted to sell it for around 10,000 yen), and I think it's a fantastic blade with nothing to complain about.

      Might end up buying another Swat next time too~
