Attack: For both long balls and shots against backspin, it combines a nice moderate arc and distance with speed that breaks through in a single hit — it felt great.
Defense: Blocks held up well without getting pushed around by the power of the incoming ball, and felt stable. Pushes tend to come out with a bit more distance than expected. You need to be especially careful when the opponent pushes it in close to you. For chops, I was able to hit low, sharp, deep balls. The amount of spin seems to have dropped slightly because there's less flex in the blade. I used to use a dedicated chopper's blade, but with that one I had to really stretch the ball out to reach the table, which meant I was so focused on that, that I tended to make a lot of over-the-table misses. With the Swat, though, swinging from high to low naturally sends the ball out low and sharp, so I don't have to think about it in an unnatural way anymore, and my over-the-table misses dropped dramatically.
The short game: The blade is small and flexible to work with, so it was easy to play.
Serves: Since it doesn't flex much, the amount of spin dropped slightly. Long serves came out fast and worked well.
Overall, this was a blade where the subtly soft, wood-like feel on contact and the ease of control really stood out. The value for money is also excellent, so if you're an attacking chopper struggling to find the right equipment, why not give it a try?Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I bought the ST during a clearance sale on a certain site.
I'm a tacky-rubber user, but since my regular blade is an outer type, this one felt like it didn't fly much in comparison.
However, the grip on the ball was incomparably better than my outer blade, so it gave me a really strong sense of putting the spin on myself.
It matched really well with short pips on the backhand and was easy to use.

I test-hit this. My impression was that it's a blade anyone can use easily. Since it's a light blade, I'd also recommend it to anyone who wants to use a heavy rubber.

ONE (Experience: ２〜３ years) A control racket with real power

I borrowed this from a friend and gave it a try.
The rubber was basically the same Ligan Spin as on my own blade.
I also hit a little with Plaxon 450.
So, from here on, this is a comparison with the TB5a.
I think both blades are aiming at the same kind of player, but the Swat has a pretty hard feel on contact.
That's the exact opposite of the TB5a. That said, it's a bit heavier than the TB5a.
The bounce isn't all that different. The Swat has the edge on speed. The TB5a wins on control.
I think this is better suited to power hitters than to players who like to load the ball up with spin.
It seems to pair well with speed-oriented tension rubbers.

I think this is the best value-for-money blade out of every manufacturer. It's easy to put spin on, and the rebound is just right, so I think you'll get fewer over-the-table misses. When you're starting out in table tennis, I think this is a great blade to begin with.
