    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
VENTUS Extra receives high ratings as a versatile rubber for intermediate players, with excellent drive performance and easy spin application being key features. However, weight is a concern, and some users report shorter durability.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Stable drive with easy arc trajectory
    • Easy to apply spin, excellent against backspin
    • Good balance between speed and spin
    • Relatively heavy weight limits dual-sided application
    • Some reports of shorter lifespan than expected
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpin application is excellent, and the drive performance is valuable at this price point. Highly recommendable for beginners to intermediate players. Considering cost-performance, every element scores above 80 points with excellent completion.
▽ CriticalDurability was exhausted in just one month with 8 hours weekly practice. Lost spin performance after 2.5 months, with Rozena being a better choice. Drives require clean form to stay on table, and the linear trajectory requires adaptation.

flash (Experience: 4〜5 years) An easy-to-use rubber!

      Reviews by user

      I bought the 2.0mm version.
Since the rubber I was using before was V>15 Extra, this didn't feel hard to me.
Just like with the Extra, over the table you need to angle the racket back a bit on impact or the ball floats up. It's not as fast as the Extra or Tenergy 64, but it's plenty fast. Hit it hard enough and you can produce long serves with tremendous spin. Even hitting from further back, the ball arcs high and lands in. Maybe thanks to the ORC gear technology, I basically stopped missing altogether.

      hi-lite (Experience: 11〜20 years) I really like this…

      Reviews by user

I used the red, max-thickness version on my forehand.
My first impression was that the feel is softer and not as heavy as other reviews made it sound, and overall it was easy to use.
There's nothing in particular that gives me trouble with it, and it's perfect for the forehand.
What stood out to me most was how well it holds the ball and how high it arcs when you put spin on it. Even a reflex forehand drive would grip the ball firmly and fly deep to exactly where I wanted, with a high trajectory.
This is easy to use, and it has plenty of speed too.
When the rally settles into topspin exchanges further from the table, it's really dependable. And of course, second and third-ball attacks closer to the table land high, fast, and heavy.
Honestly, this is the most trustworthy rubber I've ever used on my forehand.
If you're still searching for the right forehand rubber, definitely give this one a try!

Amazing! This is the most well-balanced rubber I've ever used! It puts on plenty of spin. Grip that doesn't slip, hardness that can withstand counters, pushes that don't float up — it's softer and lighter than Rakza X (though still on the heavier side). It's around G-1 level and cheap too, so I can definitely recommend this one!

HARUTO-RUN (Experience: 2〜3 years) Insanely fast

      Reviews by user

This is a seriously great rubber. It has speed and spin both. That said, I think at first you'll struggle a bit to put spin on it. But the speed is there — even in mid-distance rallies it flies and keeps landing in, it just goes in and in. Such a great rubber. No complaints!

Tomy 3156 (Experience: 6〜10 years) Less than expected...

      Reviews by user

The first thing I noticed was that it's harder than I expected.
I had a lot of long misses on light shots, so I'd say it does have plenty of bounce. I used it on the backhand, but the hardness got in the way — with my technique I couldn't put spin on it properly, and meet-hitting shots weren't stable either. It's a rubber with a lot of potential! I think it would work better on the forehand. The feel and the sound on impact were nice, with a nice high-pitched sound!

deli (Experience: 6〜10 years) Very good

      Reviews by user

Even on light shots it bounces plenty, and on hard shots the ball arcs even more and still lands on the table. I have this rubber on both sides, and I didn't find it particularly heavy.
The short game is stable too. Flicks in particular were easy to add variation to.

Undergarment (Experience: 2〜3 years) ORC is insane lol

      Reviews by user

Used this on the forehand of a 5-ply all-wood blade.
The feel is really great. When I first bounced the ball on it,
I thought "whoa, this bounces like crazy!" but once I actually hit with it, the speed came out just right.
I guess you could say that's the ORC technology at work.
You can clearly feel that any angle deviation on drives gets corrected.
It also has strong grip on the ball and puts on plenty of spin.
By the way, people often say "the pink sponge is a Rozena knockoff!" but if you look closely, the color is actually subtly different.
