    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
VENTUS Extra receives high ratings as a versatile rubber for intermediate players, with excellent drive performance and easy spin application being key features. However, weight is a concern, and some users report shorter durability.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Stable drive with easy arc trajectory
    • Easy to apply spin, excellent against backspin
    • Good balance between speed and spin
    • Relatively heavy weight limits dual-sided application
    • Some reports of shorter lifespan than expected
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpin application is excellent, and the drive performance is valuable at this price point. Highly recommendable for beginners to intermediate players. Considering cost-performance, every element scores above 80 points with excellent completion.
▽ CriticalDurability was exhausted in just one month with 8 hours weekly practice. Lost spin performance after 2.5 months, with Rozena being a better choice. Drives require clean form to stay on table, and the linear trajectory requires adaptation.

Fuji (Experience: 6〜10 years) Stable drive

      Reviews by user

Someone on my team was using it, so I got to try it out.
First, the good point: the rubber grips the ball so well that the topspin drive is extremely stable. Both spin and speed are at a high level, so the power is beyond complaint.
The short game is easy to play too, but for the stop you need to adjust things like hitting closer to the tip of the blade, or it can pop up or go too long (this probably also depends on the blade).
On the other hand, meet-style shots felt a bit off. The amazing grip worked against me and made the ball come off slower than expected.
It's a rubber that excels at spin-based techniques, especially the topspin drive, so I felt it would suit players who attack with drives, or middle schoolers who are starting to win in their local district.

      Reviews by user

The arc is high so it's stable. The short game is easy to play too, so I think it's close to an ideal rubber for close-to-the-table to mid-distance play.

My first impression when I hit with it was that the sheet is hard and the ball comes off quickly, so I thought you'd need a fairly strong impact to use it well.
Once you get used to it, the hardness stops bothering you.
Across every technique, the arc is high, but as long as you put real spin on the ball, everything lands stably on the opponent's side.
      I think it's a really well-balanced rubber.

Field (Experience: 6〜10 years) Just right

      Reviews by user

The sheet's grip on the ball is below Tenergy level and it doesn't fly as far, but that makes it easier to control — flicks and stops in the short game go pretty much as intended.
The grip on the ball is plenty good too, but I feel some energy loss when I hit hard, so personally I'd recommend it for the backhand side.

Every chan (Experience: 4〜5 years) It really grabs the ball!

      Reviews by user

The feel changes depending on the blade, but overall it has a real grip-on-the-ball feeling, so it's an easy rubber to use.
With a bouncy blade, it really flies.
For me it was easier to handle on the backhand than the forehand.
If I had to compare it to something similar, it feels a bit harder than JOOLA's Rhyzm P, maybe~
The spin performance is satisfying too, and the arc is high, so depending on the player, it might work on the forehand as well...
If you find the regular Ventus lacking in spin or speed, maybe give the one-tier-up Super Ventus a try...

A friend let me try this out.
The sheet feels hard when you hit with it, but it's really stable and cuts down on mistakes a lot. That said, if you swing hard using the same technique as with other rubbers, I felt it's easy to go long. For advanced players, I think the same brand's V-15 Extra would work better. I'd recommend this one for intermediate players!

I got this as a monitor sample, and the spin was amazing — it beats Fastarc G1.
The one thing it falls short on is speed, though.
Also, I found it lacking on meet shots too.
I think it's great for players whose main weapon is the topspin drive.
