When you brush it, the spin is insane. This isn't tacky-rubber speed - it might be one of the fastest rubbers out there. If you brush while making contact, you get even crazier shots.

It's crazy expensive!!! But depending on the blade you pair it with, it can be amazing. Match it with a harder inner-type blade and you get incredible shots out of it. That said, it's for people who can really swing through the ball properly.

Used on both forehand and backhand
The top sheet feels moist and high quality. If you take care of it, I think it'll last about a year.
Forehand drive
Loops are extremely easy to hit. It draws an arc with light effort and goes in.
The spin is heavy too, easily blowing right past blocks.
Backhand drive
If you brush the ball, it lifts too much and goes long.
If you drive into the ball so it sinks in, you get a fast ball with a wavy trajectory.
Short game
Pushes were easy to keep short and low.
Chiquita grabs spin easily and curves a lot.
You can also deliberately hold back the spin, which lets you induce mistakes from your opponent.

Cat Taku sensei Too light, felt out of control

I used this together with a commercially available Hurricane Long 5 blade, with the blue sponge on my forehand and Dignics 05 max thickness on my backhand.
I originally had a Zhang Jike ZLC with Hurricane NEO3 and Tenergy 05, both max thickness, and switched from that setup.
Bottom line up front: the blade itself was too light, and my swings felt like they had nothing to grab onto.
With my previous setup, an outer blade paired with the heavy Hurricane and Tenergy combination, it was easy to really put my whole body into a shot and blow through with one hit, but after switching, it was too light and timing became difficult.
Once I swapped Dignics for Tenergy, it got a bit heavier, which made it a little easier to handle.
If you're someone who wants to press the attack close to the table with both hands and bring out the nastiness of tacky rubber, I think this is quite good, but for someone like me who plays mid-distance topspin rallies or wants to finish points in one shot off a pivot, it might be too light and hard to use.
It seems like it might actually work out well if I paired the blade with something from the Zhang Jike series instead. (Haven't tested that yet.)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Price is a matter of personal circumstance, so I'll set that aside.
First, what I'm comparing it to is Turbo Orange, which I had on when I tried Hurricane just once before.
Right off the bat, forehand hitting feels completely different.
If you just make normal contact, it won't fly, as you'd expect from a Hurricane, but if you hit it with a bit of a flicking motion, you get a really good ball. Some of that might be because the blade itself flies well, but if you brush it lightly, the grip is so good that it's really easy to overshoot the table.
I used to have Dignics 09c on my forehand, so when I hit it the same way I used to, I obviously go long lol
If you hit it hard with almost a flicking motion, you get a really unpredictable, wobbly ball, so opponents end up making mistakes on their own.
If I had to point out one downside, it would be how difficult the serves are.
This is really hard. It's especially tough to produce backspin, so if you want to try it, practice is the only way.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

First, about the price...
The Nittaku-branded one is way too expensive.
If you get the DHS-branded version, you can find it on a certain resale app for around 7,500 yen. I entered the serial number on DHS's website and confirmed it was genuine, so you can buy with peace of mind.
Sorry for the long preamble — here's the actual review.
My comparison point is the Neo Provincial Hurricane 3 blue sponge.
Forehand hitting: Not that different, honestly. When you put more force in, the Neo version flies a bit more.
Drives: The Neo version is faster on drives. Since loops don't fly as much with this one, I found it easier to control. If you're someone who often overshoots on hard drives with the Neo version, this one might suit you better.
Short game: This one is slightly easier, though honestly only slightly.
Serves: The maximum spin ceiling is high, but sometimes you can't fully impart it. I think that improves with practice, though.
Overall, this is a high-potential rubber.
That said, if you can't consistently put spin on every single ball, you'd be better off with a tension rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
