The sheer ease of use is fantastic.
My particular unit felt a bit heavy, I think.

This is an insanely good blade.
Being able to buy this for 5,000 yen is just amazing.
The top ply is smoked, so it used to break easily and got a bad reputation for that, but the last few years the ply has changed and it's become sturdier.
Even though it's 7 plies, the spin performance is extremely high.
It grips the ball firmly, so it works with harder tension rubbers, and you can also hit it nicely with softer tension rubbers — it's an all-rounder.
That said, it's sold as a blade for junior high students and beginners, so if you use it, people might look down on you for it.

A friend let me try out a bunch of carbon blades, but none of them suited me, so I went with the Swat — a 7-ply blade known for its great value for money. Now I understand why it's called an all-time classic. The speed isn't especially high, but the grip on the ball that comes from being all wood is fantastic, and it was easy to put spin on the ball and control.

I used the VICTAS-made FL. It weighed 88.5g.
Being all wood, you can really feel yourself gripping the ball. The sweet spot is also wide, so as long as you make contact with the blade you'll be fine, which gives it outstanding block stability. It's a blade I can also recommend to beginners who can't yet consistently make good contact with the blade.
It can also generate plenty of power on offense, so I think it's a blade with really excellent value for money.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

This is truly a great blade. This blade
has absolutely outstanding control, above all else.
You can hit the ball exactly where you're aiming, exactly how you want to.
Also, even though it's a 7-ply blade, it has outstanding grip on the ball, and it's very easy to put spin on it.
The speed isn't all that high, but it does outdo something like the Acoustic. It's worth well more than its price, and it can be used broadly by anyone from a beginner just starting table tennis up to a pro-level advanced player. I bought this about 15-plus years after buying some random Japanese-style penhold racket (a pre-rubbered one) back in junior high. Since this was the first time I was building a racket completely from scratch, I asked a table tennis specialty shop to put it together for me, keeping the cost down while going for something I could use normally.
It has good grip on the ball, and especially on backhand drives, maybe because of how it matched with the rubber, the ball lifted more than I expected. I found drives easier to pull off than smashes. Back in junior high I was bad at backhand strokes, but with this one I could somehow manage to hit them.

I use Chinese-style penhold.
One way or another, I've kept using this for a long time.TSP became VICTAS and the design changed, so I bought a new one.
The performance is unchanged — still the reliable, stable Swat.
The design is also more stylish than the previous version, so it looks like a new Swat while still being the same Swat underneath.It's not really aimed at advanced players, but I don't think it would feel out of place even if an advanced player used it.
For a weekend player like me, or for a player aiming to keep improving, I think this is truly a great blade.
It's also excellent in terms of value for money.
On top of that, it should be usable across a variety of playing styles.
Once my body can't move like it used to anymore, maybe I'll put long pips on it.
