I use this only on one side of a penhold blade.
The first thing I noticed after hitting with it
was that it's a lot like Booster SA.
It has good speed and the spin is more than enough.
That said, it doesn't easily produce knuckle balls.
If you try to get one,
it's not impossible, but...
Among short pips rubbers, I think
this one can do pretty much everything.
It flies a lot, so blocking
is a bit harder, I think.
But it's stable, so
I think it suits players who attack

I've gone through more than 10 sheets of this over time. At 2.0mm thickness on a standard shakehand blade it weighs 38-40g, which makes it heavyweight for a short pips rubber.
As everyone else's reviews say, it boasts top-class spin and speed for a short pips rubber.
When rallying with a beginner, if you put a bit of topspin on it to keep the rally going, you can rally normally, but if you always hit it that way, you end up with a ball quality that has none of the benefits of short pips, so be careful. Unless you experiment to figure out at what height you can drive the ball flat without adding spin, you won't get to enjoy this rubber's real advantages.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Man, since it has horizontal-pip grain, spin is easy to put on, and the arc just keeps going up lol. It flicks off easily and it's easy to put spin on. This is the first time I've played with short pips on my forehand, and I got used to it really quickly. I originally used Hurricane, but I hurt my shoulder and putting on spin got painful, so I chose to switch to short pips. Switching from spin-oriented play to flicking the ball off took some getting used to at first, but since it was easy to handle, I adapted quickly. If you're going to use short pips on your forehand, I'd recommend this one.

I use 1.8mm on my backhand. Please keep in mind these numbers are relative to short pips.
First of all, as everyone says, it puts on a lot of spin. With drives, pushes, and serves, you can catch opponents off guard - they let their guard down thinking "it's just short pips spin" - and force mistakes.
Meet-hitting is easy too, but the bounce is strong, so it took me a little while to get used to it. Once you're used to it, it delivers performance you can't complain about on the attacking side.Blocking is easy, but it's hard to produce that classic short-pips knuckle ball. I wouldn't recommend it if that's the kind of ball quality you're after.
Some people also say it's an easy transition from inverted rubber, but personally I wouldn't recommend it to someone who just switched. You end up in this awkward in-between style that's neither short pips nor inverted, and that's a real waste. I think it's better to get used to a short pips rubber with fewer quirks first, and consider this one after that.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I think this is an excellent rubber that holds onto both the speed you'd expect from short pips and an amount of spin you wouldn't expect from short pips, both at a high level. When I used it on the backhand, my backhand drives got solid spin on them. But if I didn't put spin on, I'd get a knuckle drive instead. It's also easy to counter drives with. Flicks land well too - it was a rubber with nothing to complain about.

The bounce is pretty much the same as an inverted rubber. Chiquita is really easy to land with this. Blocking also goes in naturally just by touching the ball, so if you want a good balance between offense and defense, this is a great choice.

It really bounces a lot, and spin bites well too.
Speed is fast too. But it bounces so much that blocking is hard until you get used to it - beginners might not be able to handle it.
