Sho-go (Experience: 11〜20 years) Easy to spin

I normally play inverted rubber on both sides, but a friend of mine uses this, so I borrowed it and tried hitting with it.
Even though it's short pips, it was surprisingly easy to put spin on. On top of that it also has good bounce, so I thought it was a well-balanced rubber.
Pushes, flicks, and stops in the short game don't go wild, so it's easy to handle, and when you actually hit it you get solid speed too - I felt it was a really well-rounded rubber.
That said, as the receiving side, there weren't many of those classic short-pips knuckle balls, so it felt easy to return.
Since it's not a rubber that naturally produces knuckle balls, it's easy for me to hit but also easy for my opponent to hit, so it might tend to turn into long rallies. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Recommended for anyone who feels their current rubber bounces too much.
It puts on spin too, but since the ball sinks into the sponge, the meeting/hitting feel is also good! It's fast, doesn't slip, and is stable in the short game too! Knuckle balls aren't the easiest to produce, but you can still get them.If you play penhold pips, it's worth trying at least once!

It puts on a ton of spin and also has good speed.
Even against a really vicious backspin, whether you go for spin or for speed,
you can pull it off, so attacking is really easy.Pushes bite well and serves have good spin too - I think it's a great rubber.

Balsamic God-tier short pips for countering
-
2017/01/10
This is the strongest spin-type short pips out there.
I use it on my forehand, and it's great for countering.
If you just block with it the ball comes back dead straight with no spin, so countering is a must.
Like others have said, if you think it's the same as inverted rubber, you'll get burned. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

VO & gt; 102 ♪ (Experience: 11〜20 years) Works well for both forehand and backhand♪

Using the 1.8mm.
Now that it's the plastic ball, it's become even easier to use and has more power too.
Thoughts on forehand:
Drive/arc - it's what you'd expect from short pips,
but it's easy to vary the amount of spin.
If you really loop it, you can go for block errors.
Topspin rallies are tough, of course (lol).
Smash - maybe the fastest with the plastic ball?
The sponge has just the right softness so it's easy to smash, and if you hit the top of the ball you get a knuckle smash.
Serve - easy to put spin on ♪
You get more spin from grazing the ball than from sinking it in.
Thoughts on backhand:
This is where I mainly use it.
Drive - for some reason my backhand drive draws a really clean arc.
Very easy to do.
Push - hitting with a pushing feel lets the ball come back without being affected much by the opponent's spin.
Block - with the plastic ball it's easy to produce a knuckle block (lol).
If you press down from above and kill the ball's power,
the ball wobbles like crazy.
Looking at just this, it might seem like it has all the best of everything,
but it really doesn't have any real weaknesses. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Good! Really good.
Drives, serves, knuckle blocks
it can do pretty much everything you'd want from short pips! A one-stop shop for short pips!
Does it feel like inverted rubber? No, not at all.
It's pips, so there's no way it feels like inverted rubber.
It's a short pips rubber that lets you put on spin easily.
People say it's easy to switch to from inverted rubber, but
it's safer not to think of it as a transition from inverted rubber.
If you really want to use short pips,
change your strokes and properly understand short pips before using it.
If you just use it because "it's close to inverted rubber,"
you won't understand what's good about this rubber.
It might just turn into a watered-down inverted rubber for you...All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
