Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

A friend used to have this on his backhand. It really is a well-balanced, good rubber (in concept), but not amazing. If I were buying one, I'd probably still go with G-1... It's easy to handle, so even beginners can manage it with some effort. Both spin and speed are a step down from G-1, so if you're going to use it, put it on the backhand. It handles chiquita, blocks, counters and so on fine. It's not great for topspin rallies, but it performs well close to the table. That's the kind of rubber this is.

I've been using Fastarc G-1, so here's a quick comparison.
G has more drive power. If you can swing hard with all-forehand play, G-1 is definitely better. For backhand pushes and choppy short balls, C-1 is easier to use. It was also very easy to vary my stops!
Since it's lighter, you lose some power, but you make fewer unforced errors and it's easier to mix up the rally yourself — great for anyone who's finding all-forehand play getting tougher lately!

I used G-1 a few times, but it didn't have as much power as I expected, so I switched to the slightly softer C-1. First, about the sponge — they say it uses the same sponge as S-1, but it felt harder than I expected. That's probably because the topsheet is on the harder side.
Overall it feels about 3-4 degrees softer than G-1! I don't think you'd be able to tell blindfolded (lol)
First impressions from testing it
It has more speed and spin than G-1! I think that's probably down to swing speed and how you catch the ball.
It handles every shot competently — if I had to compare it to a Tenergy, I'd say it's like an 80. It feels like an 80 with a bit less spin.
Overall it's easy to use, works well for intermediate to advanced players, and goes on either forehand or backhand — a real all-rounder.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This rubber feels amazing to hit with.
Especially with drives — when you sink the ball in and hit, that "kakin!" moment is irresistible.
The sheet also grips the ball well, so I'd recommend it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

First of all, this is the perfect rubber to start out with tension rubbers.
I think it offers the best value for money out there. It feels similar to Rozena, but since the sheet is harder, if you're good at grazing the ball you can generate spin on par with Tenergy.
It's recommended for the backhand, but it works plenty well on the forehand too, so please give it a try!
It's a great rubber. It also has a long lifespan, so definitely give it a try sometime.

I put it on my forehand. It holds up well in exchanges and is easy to use close to the table too.
Curve drives in particular were easy to hit.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Fastarc C-1 is the softest in the Fastarc lineup, and I'd recommend it for people aiming to step up toward advanced play.
Drives get more spin than with the G-1, and it's also easier to lift the ball. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
