Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

I switched over from Rasant R42. The spin on my serves went up like crazy. Even with a normal push, I can put real spin on it and get the opponent to miss. That said, on drives, even swinging all out, I don't get as much power as with Rasant. Also, when I'm driving, there's a decent chance the ball slips off and hits the net.

It really shines on counters — you find yourself landing them almost without thinking.

The metallic sound when you smash is intense. For people without much power, it feels like it generates more spin than G-1. Compared to GFT45, another 45-degree rubber, the spin feels a bit weaker, but it feels more stable. If you're torn between different 45-degree rubbers, I think it's worth trying.

This is a rubber I was really into for a while.
Easier to use than G-1 and more stable. Just consistently stable.

This rubber combines the G-1 topsheet with the S-1 sponge. If anything, it's more of an update to S-1. Unlike G-1, it feels like a classic, mainstream high-tension rubber. No complaints on either forehand or backhand. Aside from the Tenergy FX series, I think this might be the most powerful rubber out there at medium hardness. I'd recommend pairing it with a fairly thick, fast-hitting blade.

Around me
junior high kids who just started
and can't swing properly yet
are reaching for hard, advanced-level rubbers like
Hurricane, 05, G1
Rasant 47 and so on
that don't match their levelout of every 10 balls they hit one good shot
and the other 9 are
straight balls or misses, over and over.They don't have enough strength
to sink the ball into rubbers harder than 47 degrees
a hardness of around 42-45 degrees
would really be optimal for them.If using the gear you want to use matters more
than actually hitting good shots
then there's nothing more to say.This C-1 is a perfect match for
players around second-year junior high
who are steadily building up their skill.For players not quite there yet
maybe Rakza 7 Soft or Raigan
would be better.It's not as soft as people say
it's really a medium-hardness rubber.Serves, drives, and smashes
are all well balanced
it's a really good rubber.
Junior high kids who want to get stronger

The sponge is softer than G-1 and the ball sinks into it a lot more easily.
Because of that, even when you're hitting from an awkward position, the sponge naturally launches the ball and you still get a decent shot. G-1's sponge is quite hard, so if you can't put enough power into the shot it won't fly, but conversely, if you can transfer enough power, you get a better ball than with C-1. So G-1 suits people with good footwork and power. In that sense, I think C-1 suits everyone. I think it's good for forehand at beginner/intermediate level, and backhand at intermediate/advanced level.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
