The Nittaku Acoustic was made according to the principles used in making string instruments. The materials used for this blade are thicker and softer than those in the Nittaku Violin. This provides the Acoustic with stable characteristics when attacking and blocking. Made in Japan.

The ball sits on it really well, and no matter what rubber you use, the blade builds the arc on your topspin drives, so it's stable. It's also stable on techniques that aren't spin-focused, like blocks and flat hits. In the short game too, it doesn't bounce too much, so it's stable. It's just stable across the board, period. The price is a bit high, though.

The way the ball sits on this blade is just amazing.
Once the ball hits the blade, it feels like it just draws an arc and lands in the opponent's court.
It also pairs great with Fastarc — an all-around fantastic blade.

The feel is just amazing, plain and simple.
It rings through your hand incredibly clearly.
Spin grabs well, and it's really easy to put spin on.
Speed is about 'decent for a 5-ply' level, so if you want more speed, adjusting with rubber choice works well. It hardly seems like there's a rubber that doesn't suit it.
Even with a straight-trajectory rubber you can create an arc, and with a spin-oriented rubber you can create a huge arc, so your topspin drives get incredibly stable.
The ease of controlling shots and the calmness in the short game are exactly what you'd expect from a good 5-ply.The points that split opinion are:
top-heavy balance
and the grip being really thin
The grip is genuinely thin, and even the flared version barely flares, so if you don't take measures like choosing a large grip or wrapping grip tape, it feels a bit scary like the racket might slip out of your hand.If you just look at the specs, there are probably plenty of equivalents out there, but this feel is unique to the Stringed Instrument series.

Since it's a wood blade, it doesn't bounce all that much, but
it lets you smoothly place the ball right where you're aiming. It uses the stringed-instrument construction, so the feel is excellent.
Using Butterfly's Spring Sponge rubber, Rozena, gives off a metallic ring reminiscent of the old glued-rubber days, so you get to enjoy the sound too. The Acoustic I actually used had the JO shape blade shape.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

That sticky, grabby feel on the ball is just irresistible.
It's not a dull blade that just flexes — it's one that can still send the ball out while giving you that grip on the ball.
That said, the bounce is only a hair more than the Korbel. Might be a bit lacking in bounce for male players.It pairs excellently with rubbers like 64 or Rasanter V47 that sink into the ball and shoot it out straight.
The blade builds the arc, the rubber builds the speed.
The feel, the clean trajectory, and the stability are all fantastic.Basically, it doesn't care what rubber you use. A lot of people use it with short pips or long pips too.
A masterpiece that works for beginners and advanced players alike, regardless of playing style. You can't go wrong buying this.
That said, it's just plain expensive.
I bought mine back when the list price was 15,000 yen, and now it's 18,000 yen.There are plenty of 5-ply blades from other makers with similar performance. And for about half the price, too.
But this feel is something only the Acoustic gives you. It seems like it should exist elsewhere but doesn't — truly one of a kind.

Before this I was using a blade that cost around 2000 yen (with rubbers already attached), but once I built up the basics I decided to take the plunge and buy this one.
This blade has good stability and spin is easy to generate. I made up for speed with Roundell rubber (maybe not fully made up for, but still), so it's a lot faster than before compared to my old setup.
I'd recommend it to anyone who's built up the basics and is moving past the beginner stage.

Honestly, the stability is amazing! is how I'd put it.
I'm using Fastarc G-1 on the forehand, and it draws a beautiful arc, so it's great.
With short pips on the backhand, it doesn't spring the ball off as easily compared to a carbon blade, but I don't think it's a problem!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
