The Nittaku Acoustic was made according to the principles used in making string instruments. The materials used for this blade are thicker and softer than those in the Nittaku Violin. This provides the Acoustic with stable characteristics when attacking and blocking. Made in Japan.

I'd tried both flared and straight grips, but neither fit me well, so I had an anatomic grip custom made. It cost more, but I've been enjoying it for over a year now. I've gone through dozens of blades over the years, starting with the KAZAN and going all the way up to Arylate Carbon blades, but this Acoustic is the best. The ball feels harder and smashes land really well. I keep trying different rubbers, but for now I've settled on my current one. There's some individual variation between units, but overall it has a firm, solid flex with a real core to it, and spin grabs well.

It's not an exaggeration to call this a god-tier blade. It keeps a bounce similar to Butterfly's Korbel while giving you even more flex! The biggest feature is that it's a pure wood blade, yet it has a wide sweet spot.
This blade doesn't care what rubber you use.
Put on whichever rubber you like and it'll bring out its full performance.
It also has a special adhesive soaked into the plies, which keeps the blade's bounce from dropping due to humidity.
If I had to name one drawback, it'd be the grip thickness! There's a large-grip version too, but some people will find the standard one too thin to handle comfortably.

Using this blade, I felt like nothing beats it. First off, since the blade flexes, the amount of spin you can generate is insane. I really think it's a great blade that works for everyone from beginners to advanced players.

This is my impression after recently buying and hitting with it.
First, the sweet area is impressively wide, as you'd expect. Mishits are clearly fewer than with other blades.
I felt like this might be connected to how good the feel is too.It's an all-round blade that works with any rubber, so if you're a fan of wood blades, I'm sure you won't regret buying this one.
The feel really is like the ball sticks and grips onto it. It felt like the whole blade was holding the ball.The blade's own bounce is on the modest side, but if you hit hard, you do get speed.
That said, it's more the type of blade that performs by putting spin on the ball, so I got the impression that topspin drives are where the speed really comes through.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I think this is a blade that works for any rubber and any player.
It's very light and the ball sits on it nicely.
I got so hooked on this blade that I can't use anything else anymore.
