    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Praised for exceptional spin and control performance, though limited rebound poses challenges when transitioning from tension rubbers. Recognized as a versatile rubber suitable for beginners to advanced players, particularly excelling in close-range techniques and looping drives.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Outstanding spin performance enabling easy lower-ball attacks and loop drives
    • Excellent stability in close-range techniques (stop, push strokes)
    • Strong adhesion provides excellent ball grip and precise control
    • Requires adjustment in stroke technique compared to tension rubbers
    • Pairing with elastic rackets recommended due to low rebound characteristics
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveNearly perfect performance. Serves spin sharply and short, while push strokes offer exceptional stability and sharpness. Counter-attacks and lower-ball drives deliver powerful shots, with the stickiness neutralizing opponent's spin.
▽ CriticalBalls go into the net when using tension-rubber techniques due to lack of rebound. Beginners find it difficult and extracting the rubber's true potential is challenging. It does not tolerate lazy or careless strokes, constantly demanding solid, committed shots.

Zair 03 Dependence (Experience: 4〜5 years) Good for loop drives

      Reviews by user

This rubber puts a lot of spin on the ball, and loop drives in particular felt really good.
It also lasted a long time, which was great. Just be aware that since it's tacky, it doesn't have as much bounce as a regular tension rubber.

Nittaku fan (Experience: Less than a year)

Until now I could only return backspin with a push, but with this rubber I was finally able to return backspin with a drive for the first time! My serves are really sharp, and they stay sharp even when I take the power off! Loop drives are really easy to hit, and the ball comes out hard for the opponent to handle. I want to keep using this rubber forever!

Intermediate to advanced (Experience: 6〜10 years) Built for the short game

      Reviews by user

My first impression was that it doesn't bounce much, yet the spin is also mediocre.
I expected the strong tackiness to give it great spin, but that expectation was off.
That said, since it is tacky, you do get a nice arc.
The reason I said "mediocre" up front is that even though this NEO3 is supposed to have a pre-glued base sheet and emphasize bounce, it only bounces about as much as a regular high-resilience rubber.
And yet it's not even that tacky either (this is a genuine new sheet). The spin also stays around the level of a spin-oriented tension rubber.
      But it's not all bad.
The short game is on another level and really easy to play!!
When I aim a stop at the corner near the net, I can actually place a properly spinning stop right where I'm aiming, and it's become a new way for me to score points. So the control is on another level! I'd recommend it for anyone who scores points through the short game, since stops and pushes are very easy to pull off.

That said, for attacking players I'd recommend Mingxing Hurricane, DHS Hurricane NEO, or Nittaku Hurricane instead.

Li Shen ~The eternal beginner~ (Experience: 6〜10 years) Nittaku version — my best results yet

Innerforce Layer ALC, Fastarc G-1, and this Hurricane. This combination has given me my best results so far. I put the red sheet on and played with the blade flipped. It works fine on the backhand too. You don't have to worry much about hitting long or into the net - it's a good rubber. If even a beginner like me thinks it's this good, I bet almost every table tennis player out there could use it.

Bagibuson (Experience: 2〜3 years) Really depends on the player

      Reviews by user

*This is my first review of a Hurricane rubber. Used it on my forehand.
At first I was puzzled that the ball kept dropping short a lot, but as I practiced more, I figured out why.
It was a lack of power - in other words, not enough impact on the ball!
My image was that grazing the rubber thinly would let me put crazy spin on it, but in reality the ball just drops, lol
When I hit with the image of catching the ball thick and pressing it down, I get great shots.
Now let me share a few points where the Hurricane didn't match my expectations.
      1. Hitting against backspin doesn't pop the ball out, which is pretty tough
      2. In rallies from mid-distance or away from the table, you can use the opponent's power against them and hit really nasty shots
      3. Even your serve spin gets messier
      Finally
The blade I used it on was a 5-ply, so it fell into the low-bounce category, but the feel on contact was the best. Next time I'll pick a blade that shoots the ball forward more.

After using it for more than six months, the topsheet gradually softens up, which makes techniques like blocking easier to do.

Ordinary People (Experience: 11〜20 years) ???

      Reviews by user

I got this from an acquaintance and tried it out.
I wonder if everyone else is really making full use of it?
It's probably my lack of skill, but it's quite hard to bring out this rubber's true performance.
It's true that the "chori" and "stop" are excellent, but overall, when it comes to actually competing, I felt this was gear that's hard to make perform at its best.
It doesn't let you cut corners or slack off!
All things considered, I think a regular tension-style rubber would be a gentler, more effective weapon.
