      This is my review of Provincial Hurricane NEO3 blue sponge, 2.15mm, 40 degrees
      Personally I don't think there's a better tacky rubber out there lol. When you want it to fly, it flies properly, and when you don't want it to fly (especially over the table), it doesn't — that sharp contrast really works, and I thought it was a very good rubber
      That said, it's on the heavy side, so I'd recommend it for people with some muscle strength and solid core stability — intermediate players and above

      This is really great. I'd just switched over from a tension rubber
      but it was surprisingly easy to pick up. It grips the ball and spins really well
      Hit it flat and you get some unpredictable, tricky balls

      Honestly, it's hard to handle. I often see reviews saying things like "easy to handle even for a Chinese rubber," and sure, it's easy to use compared to other Chinese rubbers, but it's far harder to handle than a spin-oriented tension rubber. If you switch to this, expect to get no results in tournaments for about six months to two years, or to start losing to people you used to beat, so you need to be prepared for that and give it the time it takes. Even so, it's worth using — once you master it, the ball settles onto the table, it naturally gets unpredictable movement, and if you hit it hard your opponent basically can't return it, so it's pretty much all upside. For a blade, I'd recommend something soft like a 5-ply wood or a 5-ply ebony blade. I wouldn't recommend ALC. I explained why under the same name in my review of the Timo Boll ALC. Also, make sure to stretch the rubber by hand while applying it.

      Normally I have Turbo Blue max thickness on my forehand. My blade is an inner ALC.
      First, in terms of hardness, Turbo Blue is by far harder. That said, even though this one is softer than Turbo Blue, it's still harder than a normal rubber, so if you don't swing all the way through, the ball drops short. The spin is more than enough, but I feel it drops off a bit once the speed-glue effect wears off. Speed doesn't really differ between the two, but when you swing all the way through, I feel Turbo Blue is a bit faster.

      Just like the title says, if you don't really let the ball sink into the sponge, it slips. It's not too bad at first, but after using it for a few months it starts slipping. City tournament, opponent's match point → my chance ball → here comes the drive → slip → I lose. But when the drive does connect, the arc gets really high. Recommended for hard hitters. By the way, I won the team event. Praise me.

      People who don't fit leopards

      This is basically the tacky rubber you think of when you think of Chinese players. The surface is sticky, so it doesn't give you speed — it's the perfect rubber for someone who's physical and wants to power the ball through with spin.

      That said, the speed is extremely slow compared to a tension rubber, so it's a rubber where you'll clearly know right away whether it suits you or not.

      Not sure about the "affordable price" part either, but you should try it at least once.
