Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The C-1 comes into the series softer than G-1 and P-1 but a bit harder than S-1 for more speed while still maintaining a high degree of control. Slower and controllable in the short game, good placement and pace on medium shots, and power on solid shots.

Switched over from G1.
A lot of intermediate players around me were using it, so I decided to try it too.
I'm a junior high schooler, and I find it easy to use and it gets good spin.
Players with a lot of power might feel the speed is a bit lacking,
but it's really easy to use.
If you felt G1 flew too much or was hard to put spin on, I think C1 is great.
Put it on an ALC blade and the spin goes up even more — really nice.

I really think this is an all-around rubber.
First, the spin performance is high — you can rack up service aces and induce over-the-table misses with loop drives. The grip is strong, so you can swing all the way through without the racket slipping.
The speed is decent too, and meeting the ball or flicking gets real power behind it.
It has good bounce, so you can rally fine even away from the table, and it's just the right hardness to go for counters as well.
Control is also strong — the ball goes right where you aim it. I think the better the player, the more this rubber's performance shows. That said, I also felt it's usable even for players whose skills aren't fully developed yet.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Used on my backhand. The balance is really good.
I'm not great with my backhand, but I've gradually been able to swing it more. Both backhand topspin drives and pushes were easy to put spin on. I'd recommend it for intermediate and advanced players.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Borrowed a friend's to try out
(a blade with carbon in it)
The first thing I noticed was that the grip on the ball is insane
When I hit a full-swing topspin drive against backspin, the ball flew way up and off
Also the ease of putting spin on the ball is amazing...!
My serves were so ripped with spin that almost nothing came back on the return (lol)
Speed-wise, even with max thickness pushing it (medium for a chopper), it still flies more than an average tension rubber
Recommended for carbon blades (I think choppers would be satisfied too)
I think you can get the hang of putting spin on the ball
Definitely try it at least once!!!!

I've been looking for a backhand rubber, and C-1 is a really well-balanced rubber. Spin is very easy to generate and stable. It's soft, so the short game is easy and blocking is easy too. Because it's soft, pushes and stops over the table tend to float a little, which makes them a bit tricky. But the backhand topspin drive has excellent stability. My style is to let the opponent hit first and then drive from mid-distance with my forehand or backhand, so I want to hit high-quality balls, and for that a harder rubber suits me better than a soft one — so personally I think G1 fits me better than C-1.

I asked a friend for advice on a penhold backhand rubber and was recommended an inverted rubber with a tacky topsheet that gives good grip on the ball, sits well on the table, and flies even without a hard hit.
My (just an) image was that I wanted to swing my backhand like Ma Lin.And the conclusion is, it was exactly what I asked for.
I wonder if it lasts a long time too? It's been about half a year now and it still seems usable. I only use it to start rallies with a topspin drive attack or to counter easy balls, so it's nice that it lasts.I really wanted to use Tenergy 25FX, but it's heavy and, more than anything, expensive... Of course, the ball quality is different from Tenergy in a bad way. But I'm not trying to land a one-shot kill or hit an extremely high-quality drive, so it's fine. (If you have the skill and timing, I guess you could hit great drives all day even with C-1...)
If anything, it suits my penhold's occasional backhand use so well that I'll put up with the slightly higher price.There are probably other good rubbers out there, but the brand name value (= low risk of discontinuation, easy to compare with other rubbers) is reassuring.

Compared to Fastarc G1, there's not that much of a difference. The sponge is softer than G1, so the ball sinks into it more than I expected, which makes it easy to handle. Topspin rallies were easy to do. But for hitting against backspin, instead of drawing an arc on its own like Tenergy, it feels more like the arc forms after you swing — the harder you swing, the more arc you get. I guess that's the kind of rubber that helps you develop your technique. The speed is about the same as G1, but the spin is a bit weaker in comparison, so it's perfect for someone who found G1 too hard.
But rather than a rubber that flies off spin, it's more of a fly-off-the-meeting-the-ball type rubber. In that sense it's the same as G1.
So this is the best choice for someone looking for a soft German-style rubber!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
